Anyone going to the Atlanta show and want to meet for dinner at Ted's first? Please pop on over to the members only thread and reply on the Atlanta thread (page 3?). Hope to see you!

Adam will and should do whatever he feels is best. However, I am still in the camp that cutting 15 min may signal he needs to conserve. A few light my lights on this. 1) He has cut the set by at least 15 minutes. If you take the intro, guitar solo, intro to 2nd and 3rd parts, brief wait before the encore, honestly Adam is singing for a bit under one hour. I timed it as I was streaming. 2) he really has backed off (at least in the last two concerts as I haven't seen the other videos) on the very high notes. He hasn't taken that high slide on TOH or Fever. Doesn't matter at all to me. I think he sounds amazing on the notes that will sound high to others that don't know how high he usually goes. 3) his funny reply to that tweet when asked about how does he take care of his voice through all this rigorous touring and he said denial. I know we should not read anything into that but it has stuck with me. I think he may well add stuff back for the NY show if he is up to it. He will have friends, industry people, critics etc most likely in attendance. But he did the Asia / New zealand /Australia tour wih his long setlist and he started out with this setlist. And he has such a trained voice, i hardly can believe he can't pull this off (when he is fitt). From one concert to another chtting six songs...no that is not logical

Since I am convinced that Adam is not 100% -- and that is the reason for the shortened setlist -- I am hopeful that he will feel better soon. And maybe some of the songs will return this weekend. Fingers crossed. That said -- he had the flu during GNT and never shared that with fans. He just performed through it. Many artists would just cancel concerts. True! TBH, not feeling 100% is the only valid reason i can think of for shortening the show by so much. And I know he would never say he was not 100% until months or years later, like when we learned about how sick he was in NYC for the GN show.
I agree that the only reason to cut the show short should if he's not feeling very well. That being said, concert-goers who pay a good price for a show feel entitled (and rightly so, IMO) to see the entire show they were expecting to see. To chop of @ five songs is a lot to chop. I hope the Chicago show I'm going to will be the whole deal. Quite frankly, I'll feel somewhat cheated if it isn't. Adam does not seem like the lazy type. He works hard. I'll assume that the cuts are due to a cold or something and hope that things are back to normal SOON. And yes, the NY show could have a more industry-filled audience. I'm sure he wants to give him the best show he can. It's true that many singers have longer shows. Just hoping Adam can get back to the full show SOON!

I guess this means The Glamberts are in the running.
What amazes me about the fan army polls, which Adam is always a part of, is that it is over SIX years since Idol. It is a real testament to his loyal fans that Adam stays visible and viable in these kinds of things. I know they don't mean a lot, BUT they DO mean that Adam has a strong, active fan base that continues to actively support him. I don't see any other Idols on the list, even the more recent ones. We Glamberts are a real force!

Needs to conserve because he is not 100%

Did not ask for nor do I desire an apology (wtf?). Just an observation that the response does not jive with situation in my opinion. I know you didn't ask him for an apology. My point was that people on Twitter and others complaining about the set list etc. seem to think they're entitled to an explanation from Adam for his (and/or his team's) decisions. He probably shouldn't even respond or comment. IMO. Agree!

Terrance doesn't mention Adam . Wonder if he'll go or if he has something else to do today.
