I'm so torn: Imo, the best track to catch some traction right now, is strangely After Hours That song has a magical feel to it. I think a lot of people need to get <out of their minds>' right now, be it because of the winter blues, or the election mess, or tax season, or strange weather or whatever the issue may be...I think this song hits a certain nerve. And sounds soooo cool. I know, bonus track....yadi, yadi....., but it has the best chances to catch on, imo. There are a few things that speak for TOH: 1. Title track and 2. It's Adam's baby, and he obviously loves the song and 3. it tells the story he wants to tell with the album. There are quite a few things speaking against it: I don't think it will climb the present charts or will fit in. 2. If he does not explain his intention with the song, nobody understands what he is singing about. 3. It has a ton of drug references, not only with the lyrics, but also in sound. 4. Falsetto, 5. Arrangement So, we will see, what he plans to do. I'll support him of course, no matter what road he picks. To be fair though........... most of the Top 40 listening public has no idea what half the songs on the radio are actually about and they are certainly not worried about questioning the artists intentions. As for the vague drug references..... off the top of my head and without actually taking time to really dig around.......Lukas Graham's '7 Years' and Mike Posner's 'I Took a Pill in Ibiza' are both current big songs that contain actual drug use references.

ok, people....let's give our man a break and remember he is on a smart side...so...IMO there is only ONE possibility of the type of performance he'll do on Idol - and that's the one that should benefit him the most at this juncture - which IMO would be performing a NEW SINGLE...I really see no benefit of him doing anything else... and I can't believe the single will be any other than TOH - THE BEST POP SONG OF ALL TIMES :D I Agree! When they picked ALN as the 2nd single in OZ/NZ, Europe follows and then US. So they have announced that TOH is the 3rd single in OZ, and sounds like Europe will get TOH as the next single, so why they should have different one for the US.

I never said it made sense but since when does FOX make sense. As I've said repeatedly it's just worth mentioning as an extreme outside possibility and NOT totally unheard of since FOX has done promo for Fall events in the Spring before. Do I think there is seriously a chance? NO, but I wanted to post it because if it did happen at least I could get credit for calling it. LOL My bet is Adam performs a medley from the TOH Tour -- perhaps the one including TOH in it. I know people associated with RHPS and they are unaware of any cross promo with Idol. They would probably know. So, while it would be a very FOX-like thing to do, I don't expect it. I do expect a talking promo for RHPS. They will probably also do some mention of and/or video from QAL. I hope Adam will bring the fogs and the amazing lights from TOH tour to Idols.

As much as I like its atmosphere, it has an unfinished feel to me. I love TOH despite the falsetto, though I prefer the current stage version. To me it's not that hard to understand the theme, and as for drug references, music is full of them. I Can't Feel My Face? Coke. Lol. I don't know what you mean by drug references in sound. The inhale of the possible joint? Less obvious to me when listening than during the skit with Terrance and Holly in the show. Lots st of people seem to be hoping for EITN. I love that one too! But as I think Q3 and others have said, no way will "Bombs over Broadway, fire in the sky" make it onto meadow. People are too sensitive IMO. Look what happened to Kesha with Die Young. The Light? I love that one too! ???? I think it could possibly make it on radio. It's dancy. Adam sounds great in it. I'd be surprised if it's the next single, but wouldn't be surprised if it were released as a fourth single if TOH blows up huge. Of course, I know nothing, and these are all just my opinions, and I also will support whatever comes out!

I don't think Europe got TOH as a single yet. At least not in the Netherlands. Warner Poland tweeted about it, but I think they might have jumped the gun as Shosh was very surprised when someone tweeted her about it. No reports since then about TOH being a single anywhere in Europe. So we are waiting just as patient (ahum) as you are for what the next single might be. Whatever it will be I'll support it just as much as I did GT (and still do)! I'm ready!

Hope we definitely get some of Adam's TOH background screen imagery, lasers, and the amazing light show to show Idol and the watching public just how much Adam has evolved into this super star!
