Was going to stop posting here because of the rejection of Monte & Tommy's gigs, nastiness of the Cherry's USING Adam's fans...please everyone should remember that Adam Lambert is who he is because of the "family" he had before AI...does everyone remember it was the Cherry's who brought him into the Zodiak, Monte got him his first recording in a studio, Tommy got a lot of abuse for the kisses! You can't tell me that everyone seems to forget that & act like they're "using" Adam to become famous....All of you have no problem promoting Sauli just because he is Adam's lover....but don't anyone post a vid of Monte's & Tommy's gigs...they're just using Adam....
, I rarely address posts like this. Every single one of us here are entitled to
our opinion and you most definitely are entitled to yours on how you see the fandom's reactions to Adam's glamily.
Personally, I see a world of difference between Adam's friends, whether they go back years, or not - as in Tommy for instance - who was employed for the GNT and did join and become part of Adam's circle.
But Adam is in LOVE right fucking NOW. The fandom is happy for Adam and Sauli.
Why the angsting?
Adam isn't personally responsible for furthering his talented friends careers just because he is living his dream after years of hard work. They also must earn 'their piece' of fame by their own dedication to their art and their hunger, just like Adam did.
IMHO Adam hasn't forgotten ANY of his glamily and this board regularly posts pictures of parties, gigs, YT's, babies, events of his friends. BUT, at the end of the day this is an Adam fan board - not a Monte, Tommy, Cherry's, Allisan, Ferras, Cam, baby board.
Just because I adore Adam, it is not compulsory for me to automatically support/like, or dislike, his friends visions of
their art.
Adam HAS supported his friends - constantly.
I just do not understand why it is such an issue for some fans (of Adam) to get upset about the peripheral people in his life.
Genuine question here (because it all confuzzles me so much), do other artists fandoms have this problem with their 'idols' friends?
