I live in Asheville ,North Carolina , The new bill affects all of us, The bathroom is being used like a shell game.. we all are so upset by the antigay legislation that we're not looking at what else the bill has to say.. Basically, local towns, cities and counties have lost the ability to write laws of protection for their own citizens.. Everything goes to Raleigh and the Governor.. total power. anyone can be fired for being gay, being African american,a women, etc. and cannot sue their bosses in state.. have to go Federal govt for justice. No minimum increases. No teacher raises and on and on...
I hope everyone, from Bruce Springsteen ,to sports leagues to corporations show our governor and his legislature what an economic boycott is so that they repeal this bigoted law.. If they don't I'm afraid many states will follow thinking North Carolina can do this so can we... domino effect.Thank you Bruce ,our state has become a state of inequality and your voice is important.

This was a really great interview....not a lot of thanks to the interviewer, I am afraid....she did everything possible to paint Adam in a corner and claim to be controlled, squashed, done badly by Idol and he would not....it actually surprised me how she tried to get him to say something negative with almost every question and he deflected like a great tennis player. Why would she relentlessly try to get him to go where he clearly was not going to go....good for him. He was amazingly forthcoming yet positive. That is not easy ..... so Hicklin came out with the negative in his own letter...no wonder he was so completely pissed at that. After all his effort to be truthful yet positive and they do that to him. As so often is the case, our amazing ray of sunshine came through....I often wish I could be so wonderful...but I am not haha When you think back to what he had been doing and going through up to then, it is amazing he was still coherent. It also confirms what I said yesterday about Idol and how supportive they were of him. When i commented on that, a couple of people had to twist what I said when I commented it was the public that did not support him...but the fact is, the vote was not strong enough for any skulduggery [if there were any] to overcome. If there were one thing about this fandom I would change, it is the predilection for some to take your words [much as this interviewer tried to do] and mis-represent them as if the misrepresentation were the original. Oh well...it is what it is...sometimes I callout out, sometimes it is not worth the effort. I think last nights show was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed at least 75% of it. There were a few obvious missteps but for the most part, it showed just how many talented young people have got a start on Idol. The talent shamed the Voice, in my opinion....especially considering many of the top Voice contestants would have been ineligible for Idol because of their age and experience! Clearly the Bowie thing was ridiculous...good grief...who was smoking what for that one. JLo is beautiful and a decent actress but she just cannot sing. Of course would have loved to see Adam there but we knew he would not be and why. They clearly have something else in the works...Ryan has said a couple of times, very cryptically, "for now"....I have no idea what is up their sleeve but there is something... It is pretty clear that with a few exceptions, the glow was off the show after Adam's season. I also wish we had seen Haley R on the show...she was awesome. I loved the Ledet reprise...he was looking good. Durbin looks surprisingly good albeit not a fan...love that blonde, but i am biased . The little Sanchez girl was terrific...she always was but she was just too young to fully utilize the platform she had...that said, she still came in second I think?? Anyways, loved the show and appreciate that it put our sweetie on the map and he knows and appreciates it. thank you idol..... mszue, I'm glad that I met you Hey sizzing63....ditto, feelings mutual

Remember this media video backstage waiting for the winner to be announced Adam's season on Idol and how shocked they were at his loss. ♥ Adam Lambert is ♔ foxvegas 16h16 hours ago THIS! Season 8 Press room as results come in...even KISS is shocked! #NoAdam vimeo.com/4777333?ref=fb-share … I haven't seen this in ages, but remember it well. Apparently the reaction was somewhat similar inside the theatre..... according to those that were there to witness it live. IIRC, Patti was in the audience. Yes! The audience gasped! Stared at their neighbor! Then finally applauded Kris!

Re: shananaomi.com/post/142393149777/pretty-much-everyone-who-covered-entertainment-inSo in 2009, this lady and her editor wrote something in OUT magazine, that gave Adam such an unfair punch to the gut that it almost threw his career, made him probably more angry than necessary during the AMAs, which furthered the likelihood of his downfall, and probably still has consequences for Adam's career opportunities in the US til today. To this lady, it is just 'a good story about AI', ... from the archives. In her profile to the left of the article, she writes about herself: "I am a writer, producer and shameless.." I guess, I concur with the latter part. You almost destroyed him. When the masses ran away, and radio ran away and his label reacted with shell-shock, there were only a few fans (us here included), who stood by him, and held him up, and carried him through, until the storm subsided. It churns my stomach to read a post from someone who is this despicable. There is nothing good and nothing funny about her story, yet she tells it, in a pungently, self-indulgent way.....me, me, me....I was also there, when this happened.

Was that the same out guy who accused Adam of neutralizing his sexuality? When Adam did that shoot with a woman? And ADAM said don't project your agenda onto me?. I believe that fueled Adams Ama performance. I blame the masses for Adams still lack of us recognition. THEY put him on a pedestal. THEN brought him right bk down.

IIRC, Patti was in the audience. Yes! The audience gasped! Stared at their neighbor! Then finally applauded Kris! For the record. Not that it matters. When Gokey went home. All his votes went to Kris. I dont believe their was any Arkansaw Conspiracy. Just a certain subset of the audience prefered Kris. Personally if it was Alison and Adam in the finalie Adam would of won. But the show knew wHat they were doing pitting Kris and Adam against each other. The guyliner v the guy next door haha.

OT but if you collect vintage vinyls (like me) here is some information if interested. billboard @billboard 32m32 minutes ago Famed vintage vinyl owner Steven Kay on the newest trends in vinyl blbrd.cm/Eotwgz I collect too much vinyl which I never play, mostly from the 50's and 60's pop artists. My two Adam l.p.'s have a special place of honor and I haven't been able to open them. Does anyone know if FYE was ever issued on vinyl?
