A girl from the Netherlands did a vlog about the concert in Amsterdam. It gives some nice bits and pieces of the concert.

Maybe I should take this opportunity to also say something about the concert and the surrounding days as well. Although I'm still processing it and trying to understand it somewhat. It wasn't completely what I expected, but that later.

Tuesday Airport
On Tuesday I had classes and we were planning to meet up in the night for some dinner. I already messaged Betty that I was coming over when Mireille messaged me as well that Adam still hadn't arrive on the airport and that nic42 was coming over as well. I was really debating with myself what to do (I do that a lot, I'm a thinker). As it was unsure if Adam would be even arriving that day I decided to go to Betty, but when I arrived there and gave some hugs she convinced me to go to the Airport. So off I went again! She's such a sweetheart! 

When I arrived on the airport it was clear that Adam would be coming that night, but he was going to be there pretty late. So I got me something to eat and we prepared some gifts for Adam including a card on which we all wrote a message welcoming Adam to the Netherlands. We went to the arrivals that was the most likely guess and sat there on the floor waiting. Mireille was the brave one and got some more info from the driver who also picked up Adam last time he was in the Netherlands in October. He told us to wait there and he'll be there. We spread out some though and were standing waiting in anticipation to see what was happening. A lot of people came and went and things got pretty quiet and then suddenly: Adam!

I was watching the door and recognized him immediately. He was rushing to the driver though and was walking to the doors out already when (again) mireille stopped him and asked for a picture. I was right behind her when she told Adam there were more people and he said: "Let's take a group picture". We weren't completely ready though and the result you've seen with my nose half in the picture. We got one more that has me a little more in the picture, but it happened all so quick and he was gone so quickly again that we hardly got to say anything to him. The people with the gifts were also not around right away so he didn't get our little gifts either. We were all pretty stunned about why he was rushing so fast to the exit.

Now we know there was some trouble at the bus station right in front of the Airport and the guy that was arrested just before Adam came out of the gate. The driver must have been alerted to that fast and was probably getting him to safety fast. 
After we came to our senses we met freakydeaky as she happened to be arriving around the same time as Adam and then we found out we couldn't leave the arrivals plaza to get to our cars. Only mireille and me were with the car and the rest who was by train could leave through the underground train station. Just me and mireille were stuck (or so we thought). We waited for at least 1,5 hours until mireille decided to go by train home and I heard I could go to my car (information was scarce). In hindsight it turned out I could have left the whole time already through the same exit as Adam took and just walk to my car perfectly. Took me some time to get home and it was already long Wednesday (concert day) when I got home and went to bed. 

But we met Adam! 

Hmm this is getting way to long. I might have to cut this one into pieces. I'll try to be a bit shorter for the other days!
