Can't Go Home made it to 3 million streams on Spotify today and it seems there is one proud DJ!  Steve just retweeted my tweet and my mentions are going crazy! I don't think people should be disappointed in Prince. He was human. He doesn't have to be in lockstep with all liberal philosophies. Obviously his faith/spirituality was very important to him. LOL....Looks like "put down the phone/camera and enjoy the show" from Tallinn landed on deaf ears. She really does take nice photos...tho.

Feeling the Adam love this morning.  This video: just embodies for me so much of why I admire Adam, and follow him so closely (okay, obsessively  ). He is absolutely mesmerizing to me on stage. Remember Paula saying, "My eyes are fixed on you?" He inhabits the stage with such ease and joy, he is so supremely confident without cockiness, I love seeing him improv, I love knowing that what he is doing so effortlessly is amazing on a technical level (thanks, cassie!  ). I just revel in this boy. So, here is a breakdown of some reasons why from the video above: ~0:22 strut ~0:57 twirl ~1:37 "I'll show what is cold, bitch." ~1:57 phone grab (damn he is quick) ~2:21 "Oh yeh, oh yeh." ~2:53 "That groove is everything." His improv throughout the band intros. ~6:59 Call and response ~8:33 "And I am Adam." ~8:56 mic twirl !10:14 "I want to do it again." With each performance he shares the absolute joy in and mastery of his artistry, for me, for you. I will never not want to watch him whenever I can. And thanks again and always to Q3 (ETA: and all the mods) for providing and maintaining this site where I can fully indulge and immerse myself in an Adam-centric culture. Your hard work is soooo appreciated. And thanks to all of you for bringing the goodies, and to those who stream live performances for us. And to American Idol (RIP) for providing the platform for Adam to shine on. I will never ever forget this: Plus has there ever been anyone so drop dead gorgeous? |
