OT but a bit of Idol news -- and RCA/Jive news -- Archie has been dropped by both his management and Jive Records. There is a rumor that other Idol alums will be dropped by RCA/Jive -- but word I get is Adam is fine. (Although I can't imagine RCA dropping Adam because he has built just a great foundation for future $$$$$ for them.)

JustKaren--that is just drop dead gorgeous! Where are you going to put it? I haven't quite decided yet ... I have a "photo wall" in one room that includes family photos but also some autographed old-style record albums, including one from Barbra Streisand ... so it will probably go in there ... I probably have enough Adam stuff to devote an entire wall to him, but that might be a bit much! My family, so far, supports my chasing all over the world to see Adam, I don't want to scare them off! ;D |

I've decided to update my computer skills. How do you save all the great smiley's. I know you right click but I went to a word file and save as a gif. I then try to pull is up and it looks liked squares and funky lettering. SO what is the trick? ... It's also the most complicated and time-consuming edit I've done, being a whole 15 minutes long. There are about 70 different pieces stitched together which took hours upon hours of watching each video at every single point to pick out the best frames for you. Enjoy!

Thanks for clearing this, Q3- I have to admit the article Stardust posted earlier made me a bit uneasy, especially this part: "Without naming names, there are a few very good contestants from “American Idol” of seasons past- and not that far back- whose recording careers with Sony are tenuous at best. If their first albums did only “okay” despite being linked to the hype built around the Season from which they came, what chance is there of their second and third albums doing any better?"I know that Adam is not with Jive, but Kris is? But he is also working on his new album so he should be safe too?? Really sad for a young artist like Archuleta. |
