Good morning! I just finished looking at the rest of the great pic spam from yesterdays thread! Beautiful...thanks for all the amazing RIGHT CLICK/SAVE opportunities!!  I was thinking about the GNT and the time Neil was about to lose his mind with the race cars winding around the hotel, I believe in Singapore, and he couldn't get any sleep! OT question. What do follow bots do on twitter? Are they harmful in any way? I see a lot of people complaining about them. The problem w/follow bots is many times they are holding accts for marketers who get paid for recommending accts. People who are looking to push their stuff follow everyone in the marketing acct. In other words, it "xacct123" follows PastaBaby, all the crap will follow all the people "xacct123" is following. I clean out my followers from time to time. In Jan, I got rid of over 100 followers. Usually you can tell the holding accts b/c they have a number in their name. They also have few tweets or nonsense tweets. They may follow hundreds but are followed by only a few. There is one marketer that pretends to be an Adam fan. She tweets links to may diff online rags. Her name is magsmagenta. I have her blocked for awhile but now many people have caught on and I think she has recently changed her name. She will be friendly but you will get lots of crap links from her. Some people don't care about the bot accts b/c they build up their number of followers. edit: this ploy was exposed in an online article but I figured it out way b4 that. I'll see if I still have link to article. the reasonmany bot accts usu have numbers is it is the same person who sets up an acct, deletes it or is caught spamming, and then sets up another sequential acct. |

seoulmate I tried to pm you, I got the "can not connect to server" message. I am not sure what is going on? I see I am apparently not the only one having trouble though. Bummer, everything was going so well.
