I listened to it 2-3 times. Like Kara said "I dont know what to make of it" but in the end I liked it.  I dont like every song that Adam tweets. But this one has a new sound so different from the songs that are played on the radio on repeat. Of course I dont know if this song will get radio play, cause I understand this is the most important thing in the US. Different, I agree. Some unexpected chords that add a certain flavor and lots of interesting percussion and background vocals. Sorry--I don't pay as much attention to the words. Probably most people do, but I usually like songs based on pure sound. ETA: Oh--I like it. |

Jamie, as a fellow Cubs fan, let me just say it's a good thing they are supportive for this cause, because this season they can't play worth shit. I was actually at that Cubs/Yankees game last night, and any improvement that was shown in the last few wins was gone as if aliens had plucked them from the field and returned the original team. This is how Adam would have played had he not dropped out of T-ball.  Yeah, coming from a team that hasn't won a World Series in 103 tears maybe they should have called it "It Get's Better.....well...except for us." |

Well if there is anything I hate more than aqua board shorts -- it is The Cubs! (I am a Marlins and Indians fans.)
And now the Cubs do something I like. Urghhhhhhhhhh! Now how do I continue to "hate" them!!!??!??!?

Next time I'm near King of Prussia, Intercourse, or Blue Ball, PA, I will PM you. Maybe we can have lunch. In SC now, but in PA quite a bit. Now you're talking my neck of the woods! Maybe there needs to be a SE PA meet up like some other areas had. Jazzrocks. I'm somewhat near you. I listened to the same radio station trying to get those tickets for Adam and Lunch and you won. I was so jealous. I met LM2718 at Upper Darby. She recognized my bracelet but didn' t get to talk later since I had gone with 4 other fans. I also met DietCoke at the Atlantic City concert but she wouldn't remember me. I went with KMT who used to post at Adamtopia but she has decided to remain low but still is an avid fan. So next time around I hope to meet some Pennsylvanians (is that a word?) so we can represent and scream together. My co-workers don't understand my obsession! |
