Just have a question . . . and believe me, it's a friendly one, and not meant to belabor or rehash the conversation of today. In sports, people are able to buy the best seats for an entire season. Every game, they are in the front row or the box seats. No one complains. At the opera or the symphony, people purchase seats for the entire season. Every performance, they are there, in the coveted front orchestra or mezzanine seats. No one complains. At many venues, such as the performing arts center in my city, season ticket holders occupy the 'best' seats for every show. No one complains. I'm wondering why there is such consternation over people who choose to purchase tickets (that are available for EVERYONE to purchase) and be up close to see Adam. Everyone has the equal right to purchase these tickets; we all have to pick and choose where our income goes. I saw Adam four times during TOH tour. I was in the front row once; even though I had VIP for all four shows. I chose to purchase VIP to be close. Everyone has the same choice. Then I came home and went back to work, so I might begin to build a nest egg for a hopeful performance in the future. All this judging. Suddenly, I'm old. I'm going to do what I want to do. I asked Adam "If you see this white hair, will it make you hold back?" "I never hold back!" was his reply. That's good enough for me. Exactly! Paying for the best seat or best spot happens in pretty much all sports and entertainment! It is not exclusive to Adam! And as far as I'm concerned, if someone wants to camp out for front row, like in OZ, more power to them! I can't or won't do it. Not enough stamina! Which would be the exact reason i would have purchased VIP if I had gone to any GA! I am short! BTW, Adam did not call out those ladies for being front row. He called them out for having their cameras out for 100 videos instead of just enjoying the show!

That's good enough for me. this whole problem wouldnt be a problem, if everyone who bought a ticket, actually got to see the show , and that is just not what happens , not everyone can afford the expensive tickets , and not everyone is tall , would it not have been better to spend some of the light show budget on the screens . a lot of people especially in these larger ga venues saw nothing , so what is the point of putting on a show that cant be seen by all , because if people dont have an enjoyable experience they wont go back , and i take your point about sports events ,and opera etc , but at theses events the whole audience can see whats happening , im not taking any sides ,just trying to make a point

I asked Adam "If you see this white hair, will it make you hold back?" "I never hold back!" was his reply. That's good enough for me. Fair point, but I'll bite... Season tickets for sports, opera, symphony, etc. - you're basically purchasing a pass to a different show each time. A season at the opera? You'll see, what, maybe 10 different operas. Sports, your team is playing a different team each time & each time advancing to higher levels of competition. The 'season' is either different shows (opera, symphony) or being able to see the unfolding of a competitive story (sports). Those season passes aren't to the same show, same artist, every time. Also, that season ticket holder isn't flying to multiple countries to see an artist at a venue that holds less than 3,000. The whole point of a world tour for an artist is to connect with different international audiences. The point is to allow locals from all around the world the chance to connect with the artist. In addition, regarding opera, ballet, symphony, etc. - the audience doesn't affect the show the way the audience at a artist's/band's show does. The audience isn't a huge part of the experience at a ballet or opera. They don't affect & interact with the performer(s) on stage like they do at a rock or pop show. To use Adam's phrase - there's no 'exchange of energies'. So, the difference might seem negligible to some here, but, to me at least, that difference is crucial.

I guess VIP tickets are a double edge sword, in one side they produce a large income for the entertainer on the other side limits the folks without the means from purchasing those tickets. I don't know what is the answer but to think that people will give their right in the front after paying those prices it seems a little naive in my thinking! I think the original topic was people who see multiply shows from the front row. idt anyone has a problem with a person buying vip once and being front row if they can afford it. But after Adam called out those women (it even before this actually), I could never show my face in the front row again. To me, this is akin to showing up somewhere uninvited. Plus, I don't want him looking down at me during a particularly vigorous thrusting session and wondering if I'm friends with his mom lol If I remember correctly, his Long Island performance with his Mom in the audience was one of his sexiest ever......(the Idol summer tour).

What an amazing band! What an amazing Encore! This is my favorite live video, since WLL FS! I so agree with you. What an amazing band!! They can keep up with Adam's freestyle. I really hope we will get them back for the 4th album.
