The ticket saga is moot now. Let's make sure no horse is harmed in the making of these posts.

Just have a question . . . and believe me, it's a friendly one, and not meant to belabor or rehash the conversation of today. In sports, people are able to buy the best seats for an entire season. Every game, they are in the front row or the box seats. No one complains. At the opera or the symphony, people purchase seats for the entire season. Every performance, they are there, in the coveted front orchestra or mezzanine seats. No one complains. At many venues, such as the performing arts center in my city, season ticket holders occupy the 'best' seats for every show. No one complains. I'm wondering why there is such consternation over people who choose to purchase tickets (that are available for EVERYONE to purchase) and be up close to see Adam. Everyone has the equal right to purchase these tickets; we all have to pick and choose where our income goes. I saw Adam four times during TOH tour. I was in the front row once; even though I had VIP for all four shows. I chose to purchase VIP to be close. Everyone has the same choice. Then I came home and went back to work, so I might begin to build a nest egg for a hopeful performance in the future. All this judging. Suddenly, I'm old. I'm going to do what I want to do. I asked Adam "If you see this white hair, will it make you hold back?" "I never hold back!" was his reply. That's good enough for me. Exactly! Paying for the best seat or best spot happens in pretty much all sports and entertainment! It is not exclusive to Adam! And as far as I'm concerned, if someone wants to camp out for front row, like in OZ, more power to them! I can't or won't do it. Not enough stamina! Which would be the exact reason i would have purchased VIP if I had gone to any GA! I am short! BTW, Adam did not call out those ladies for being front row. He called them out for having their cameras out for 100 videos instead of just enjoying the show! IDK.. coz I think he also said that they have taken up space (front row) from local fans.

That's not his whole quote. A lot of hearsay went around before the actual video surfaced on what he really said. It was even tweeted that he said "M&Gs" and he didn't. I don't have a horse in this horse race. Only have had front row 3 times in 7 years and 2 of those times were by accident! But, IMO, if the pricing makes front row more expensive and is called VIP or early entrance, and you can afford it, then do it!

Welcome home Terrence and company, weather is much nicer here. Lucky for Holly the tour is over or she would be dancing on her panties!

I asked Adam "If you see this white hair, will it make you hold back?" "I never hold back!" was his reply. That's good enough for me. It is the way it is. Those who have money can buy the best seats. 50 yard line football tickets. Behind the dugout baseball tickets. Floor level basketball tickets. Orchestra seating at the theater. Front row tickets to Bieber, Perry, Beyonce. etc. First class tickets on the plane. And on and on and on. I grew up dirt poor. I now have disposable income to do things I never imagined I would ever do. Let people live their lives they way they want to. After all, you can't take it with you. No regrets. When I had nothing, i did not waste my time worrying about what people with more were doing. I focused on doing the most with what I had. I am sure most of the people at a concert are not worried about who is in the front row. They are just enjoying the fact that they got to go the concert. Think about it. Have you ever wondered who was in the front row before this fandom? Did you?

Probably different shorts or at least altered, maybe an Adam bleach job, but she sure knows how to get those strings going. Will it be enough to divert the conversation you initiated with your provocative comment on page 6 regarding the lovely audience photo, well I doubt it but I wish we could go back to post-tour bliss. www.adamtopia.com/post/751075/thread
