Adam Lambert & Leona Lewis Nominated for CMT Music Awards!

Here are your nominations for the 2016 CMT Music Awards, and to be fair, CMT is the MTV/VH1-equivalent for country music fans and the CMT Music Awards are the country version of the VMAs. These awards are fan-voted, and we have a number of talent show alum nominated, including Carrie Underwood with a pack-leading three nominations, Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis. Also nominated? Several present and former judge/coach-types like Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.

The 2016 CMT Music Awards will air live on CMT and CMT.com (and possibly TV Land, as was the case in 2015) on June 8, 2016 at 8p Eastern.

Who can vote?
Anyone with a registered CMT.com, Facebook or Twitter account will be able to cast their vote online.

When can I vote?
Voting opens at 9.30 AM ET on May 9, 2016 and ends on June 6, 2016 at 12:01 AM ET. Votes will not be accepted prior to or after these voting periods.

How do I vote?
If you have a CMT.com, Facebook or Twitter account, you can vote online at www.cmt.com. If you do not already have a CMT.com, Facebook or Twitter account, you will need to create one before being able to vote online for the 2016 CMT Music Awards nominees. Once you have your account, go to the category for which you would like to vote. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to login. Once you are logged in, you can click the "Vote" button next to the nominee for which you would like to vote.
