Yes - the human spirit can go on, beauty can prevail over horror, and evil will not triumph in the end. Thank you, these thoughts are beautiful-my mother's father died in Auschwitz I lost over 25% of my family in various concentration camps (my maternal grandfather's entire line - his 13 brothers and sisters and all of his nieces and nephews) and I am certain that, as FanOfTheMan said, "Yes - the human spirit can go on, beauty can prevail over horror, and evil will not triumph in the end." |

I've been googling but I don't find any indication of an actual Macy's store in Australia. I found reference to a shipping program to Australia that has now ended and comments that the Myer's store was reminiscent of Macy's but no store. That link you posted was about a Christmas attraction that may have been replicating the Macy's Christmas window displays in New York. I don't think it was for an actual store. I wouldn't make a special trip if I were you. Do you know anyone in the city you could check with to see if there is an actual Macy's store there? Hi rihannsu! I looked at it this morning before work and thought you might have misunderstood what was at the link--since English is not your native language. (You are doing beautifully with your English, by the way.) I also did a quick search for a Macy's store in Melbourne but did not have time to respond. I didn't want you making a special trip for nothing. I am relieved to come home and see that you have been helped with that topic. We help each other out all the time on Atop. Navigating around websites in another language can be labourious and confusing....I read your post, but I didn't check the link out so had no idea it wasn't in Melbourne, Australia. I know you struggle with the language and because I happen to live near Melbourne, Florida I know how confusing it can be because often web sites don't put enough information about their actual location. When I first moved here to Orlando which is in Orange County, Florida I did a google search for the Orange County Public Library. What I got was the Orange County Public Library in California. I didn't even realize it until I looked at the addresses for the branch locations. |
