With the mention of Queen playing for the other Queen's birthday (or vice versa, Freakydeaky!) I wanted to post this video of Brian May playing on the roof of Buckingham Palace for the Queen's golden jubilee in 2002 in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Curry is typically what people have after drinks in the UK and Ireland...  so he could've said that... Oh interesting.. when I think of curry, I think of Indian curry. I can understand the influence of Indian cuisine in the UK, but am even more surprised that it's typical in Ireland. My husband was from England and curry was one of his favorite foods. I made it all the time!  |

Just had a crazy thought. The Queen of England is being celebrated this weekend , in honour of her 90th birthday. I all so think there will be a concert. How cool would it be if Queen did a surprise performance to THE QUEEN.  I really hope that happens!  |

Nice idea and we do love our concerts to honour the Queen - but sadly I think a summer concert would already have been announced.  And it might have been like our Olympics when only UK artists could perform - and Adam was replaced by Jessie J who, with the best will in the world, really didn't shine......  (imho) |

The Isle of Wight show is going to be SO amazing! I'm sure they'll sing their FULL set, including WWTLF. Hope so, anyway. I know I'm being selfish, but I wish Roger had given a brief mention of Adam. I know this interview wasn't about Adam, but still.......I love it when Roger and Brian sing Adam's praises. |

When Chris (the DJ) said that Queen would be playing IOW with "the wonderful Adam Lambert" (quote!) Roger repeated the phrase during the interview, saying something along the lines that they'd been playing festivals around Europe with "the wonderful Adam Lambert". |
