What the heck is Adam doing at a Kia dealership....lol. I Googled to see if maybe it was a club or store in Sydney...named Kia...but all I got was the car dealership. Maybe it stands for " Ksomething" In Australia. lol Mystery solved.. Thanks pi! for your follow up ninja work...

None of those AI comments came across as particularly harsh to me. The unvarnished truth is something some folks in this 'everybody gets a trophy" world have never heard. Tell it like it is Adam. I agree. I always cringed when judges on AI or whatever told someone who pretty obviously would never be a good singer to keep working on it and come back next year. Or families pushing some tone-deaf kid to try out! (And as for wanting to jump off a cliff, country music very often elicits that feeling in me, haha!)

This is what drives me crazy about The Voice. The coaches never give any criticism... and the very, VERY few times they do, they apologize for it like it's not what they're there to do in the first place. I get SO tired of the coaches on the The Voice repeating the same worthless "that was great" after every performance. It also irritates me on behalf of the singers who ARE actually great. It lessens the compliment when everyone is getting the "you're great" comments. As a viewer, I don't want cruelty but I DO want honest criticism. And the singer needs to hear it if they really want in the industry.

The judges on both The Voice and XF are also mentors, which I think is the reason for the lack of harsh criticisms. OFC, these are auditions so honesty would be the best approach.

He just needs to get used to drive on the other side of the road
