I think I have a new exciting ,before bed routine. After watching endless news about the Cassie Trial, awful situation stuff and depressing news of a broke nation and broken world ,my eyes caught a glimpse of Adam Lambert Glam Nation Live DVD near the tv. OMG I haven't watched that in a while.so I shut off the TV sat down and spent a glorious time with Adam.WE have to get this DVD to gold,it's beyond amazing.. That VOICE, that man .. Thank you Adam for making me happy in a world full of ANGST.Now I know where to go for that shot of hope. I watch the last half of Adam's MTV Unplugged last night (thank to Valilac's post about it) and although I thought I would just watch a few seconds, I was complete captivated by him. Just awesome! (And it isn't like I haven't seen it before or don't have these tracks on a CD in my car.) I watched the GNT DVD last night too and I haven't watched it in a couple of months. How is it possible to be surprised by his many talents once again? I should know this by now, but his voice still catches me off guard. How am I going to survive new album material? This man is just too good to be true. Lucky fan!!

Q3
I was reading yesterday's blog. well anyway regarding comments regarding the Memphis concert and how the group from AR inclduing his parents, etc remained seated.
My question? Is there anyway to tell how large a fanbase is from the state of AZ???
I was thinking maybe looking at the inventory/orders of CD's shipped to each State. SUrely someone must have those statistics?

I have such fond memories of Baltimore. My daughter lives in the Baltimore area(about 6 hrs. from my home). We went to the Idol tour together. I called my daughter and told her I wanted an early Christmas present. She thought I was Loosing my mind. She enjoyed the show but wasn't convinced. The next year I called and told her Christmas was coming early to Baltimore. On my drive to the city I had car trouble and had to borrow my cousins car (In an area with no rental cars available)for the weekend. I remember standing in an airless hallway for hours with the sweat dripping and not one person complaining. I had trouble understanding allison and I was afraid that it was the sound system and that adam would be hard to understand, NOT That night I met Sandysva and Rjacks and was introduced to Planet Fierce. Suz was not there that night. My Daughter was still not convinced but has since converted.YEAH I tried to get my daughter to go to dc the next night but since I don't get to visit with my daughter very often I thought better of it. ( I still regret that) The article about hearing Adam sing live is so correct!!! I got to see Adam again and meet many Adam fans again in Raleigh. Thank you for the memories!!! I just read through this and it sounds so disjointed but I hope you get the Idea

Q3 I was reading yesterday's blog. well anyway regarding comments regarding the Memphis concert and how the group from AR inclduing his parents, etc remained seated. My question? Is there anyway to tell how large a fanbase is from the state of AZ??? I was thinking maybe looking at the inventory/orders of CD's shipped to each State. SUrely someone must have those statistics? First, I was seated in the club level with a really good few of the Kris group at this concert. They had one entire block of seats on the right side of the floor (Section F4), starting around 20 rows back. They had the whole section so it was really noticeable when they stayed seated. (Probably about 100-150 people.) I am about 90% sure that Kris' parents were not in that section -- but his brother Daniel, aunt and uncle, and other family members were. They were mostly guys in their 20's, who had way too much beer to drink, and were def not Adam fans. They also were not Idol fans. There is a lot of evidence that Kris had a large fanbase on May 5, 2009 when the iTunes numbers leaked. He was #2 in sales to Adam at the time, and well ahead of Danny. He had a lot of voting support outside of Arkansas. But Idol voters vote for the person the like, not necessarily for the recording artist that they want to buy music from. Taylor Hicks blew away Daughtry on Idol, and we know how that ended. Finally, if you were a fan of alt. Rock/singer-songwriter style music, you can buy music from a ton of artists -- The Script, John Mayer, The Fray, Maroon 5, etc. etc. So for this genre winning Idol only gets you so far. There is not substitute for Adam F. Lambert. If you love his music, you just have to wait for it. Postscript -- I am convinced that Adam left Idol with more fans than Kris, but Kris' fans were better organized and voted more. There was no equivalent to Kris Allen Nation on the Adam side. IF Adam fans had been organized, Adam could have won. Daniel Allen and his friends put together KAN and keep the fans organized and voting. But I am equally convinced that it was better that Adam lost Idol. If he won, his life would have been miserable and his creativity would have been restrained too much. I really doubt that we ever would have heard DTRH from the winner of Idol for example, because the Idol winner is like Miss America and cannot do a fun drug/gay sex song. OT but for Cook fans -- word is the RCA is going to release a new single for his album. Album releases tomorrow and it has moved up to #33 on the Amazon CD Best Sellers list with 13 days in the Top 100. I damn well hope that Adam does better than this, but it shows just how tough selling the second album is.

Q3, I'm confused about the Monday, Nov. 7 guess. I thought CDs/DVDs always dropped on Tuesdays. Has that changed? And if it IS on Nov. 7, sorry mom, your birthday has just been canceled ... Have 2 birthdays that day and actually told both of them they weren't getting presents until Nov 8 when I could buy Adam's new CD. On another note- What a difference 9 1/2 years can make in a person's life: youtu.be/wA7bA6rhKvcI don't think I have watched the H.S. graduation since 2009. Funny how even then, when he hit the few power notes, the audience "ooo'd" or clapped. Something just overtakes people's sense of awe.

Very likely: Album will be released in early November.Related hot rumor: The album will be released on November 8, 2011. This is unconfirmed but I think Monday November 7, 2011 is a more likely date. Well if this turns out to be a reality, given that my Bday is Nov 7, this would make for an awesome Bday present for me...Good Times!!! My daughter's birthday is Nov 7, she won't care about the CD The girl I share a house with in MB has a son will be 12 that day. They will be thrilled because the one and only CD they own is the FYE that I gave them Christmas of 2009. It is in the car and mom and boys know every single word and the order of the songs from FYE. They are just now saying perhaps it is time to buy some more CDs. **In case you are feeling sorry for them, mom has an IPod with hundreds of songs, the boys have every electronic gadget, including a Kindle (sp?) each, known to man. Ha.

I think I read On Katri's blog, that he will be HOME the beginning of August Actually, it was said (somewhere, sorry, I can't remember) that he would start back up with his Radio Aalto show in LA in August. Back when he first returned to Finland, Sauli had said he'd be there for 3 or 4 weeks, which is just about now. I was thinking that with the holiday weekend coming up, Adam might take a little break. Seems he's been working like a fiend, and lots of people take vacation next week. Also it might be fun for Sauli to be in the U.S. for the July 4th hoopla. Just idle speculation, since it's slow and as usual we know nothing, lol.
