Would love to see Adam get some more Magazine covers centered around the album release or thereafter. Wonder what it would take to get another Rolling Stone cover...I guess a big hit Adam #2 album. I remember that video from RS when they gave him and he unwrapped the framed cover. He had such a look of pride and accomplishment in his eyes!  |

 I really like KE$HA - I imagine that she and Adam have a ball when they are together. Remember his little butt slap to her when they were presenting together and the both of them cracking up on the stage. So cute. I love that he has such fun good friends to enjoy. I've always liked her alright but didn't say anything. Yes can be too auto tuned at times but seems to get the humor or not so deep aspect. |

Ok... We have a Philosopher + Comic + Funk Singer ??? ;D To my mind, Joseph Campbell is like a prophet to the non-religious; or the religious who are continuing to seek answers. His life's mission was to study the myths, religions and teachings of every culture he could manage. He found that throughout history and despite vast differences in geography and cultural evolution, the same themes echoed throughout the myths and religions of every tribe, civilization and society. Which, to my mind, should unify us, because all religious teachings are at their core, extremely similar – they are stories we tell ourselves in order to understand our universe and live together. In his series of interviews with Bill Moyers, he gets in depth and discusses it with extreme clarity and reverent humor. It's a great series of interviews. Also LOVE Larry David and Anthrogeek is a big funk fan and has been wishing for a Bootsie Collins collab since she discovered Adam. I agree. I think he would do great with a little funk. And Nikka does have that too, for sure. Interesting that he just started following Lenny Kravitz today as well. Love his brand of rock/funk. OK, I am not trying to Spam the thread but just trying to catch up and see so many posts that need repeating in this slow Adam time... |
