..and yet mediocrity rules in the world of pop music super stars... I'm not sure that is fair to pop music. Here are this week's Top 10 pop songs -- none of these artists are mediocre IMO -- and a few are excellent vocalists. 1 Cheap Thrills Sia Featuring Sean Paul2 This Is What You Came For Calvin Harris Featuring Rihanna3 Ride twenty one pilots4 Don't Let Me Down The Chainsmokers Featuring Daya5 One Dance Drake Featuring WizKid & Kyla6 Can't Stop The Feeling! Justin Timberlake7 Just Like Fire P!nk8 Send My Love (To Your New Lover) Adele9 Treat You Better Shawn Mendes10 Cold Water M ajor Lazer Featuring Justin Bieber & MOGlad you said this, Q3! I think pop is in a pretty good place right now, very diverse. And anytime twenty one pilots is in the top 10 it's a good day

Can't wait for October for the RHPS! To be honest, I was at first afraid the general population would be so anti-remake of this classic that we'd have another go-round of "He's no Freddie," but instead replacing Freddie's name with "Meatloaf." Like Queen fans, the die-hards of the original RHPS can be ardent purists. I'm relieved to hear so many positive comments, pleased to hear that the press seems to be on board, and proud that Adam's name keeps rising to the top of so many articles for his talented performance! At least we have Meat Loaf on record discussing Adam's possible parentage! I wish we could have one of Freddie, too. Not that it would stop detractors, they are known for totally ignoring anything Freddie said when he was alive...
