I doubt a signed guitar would be much of an incentive for Adam (but I could be wrong).

Good lord! $350 for an ultimate fan pack... Which I see in Cook's case includes a guitar. What might be the equivalent for Adam? A signed microphone? A pair of Skingraft gloves? A really special piece of jewelry? It's a ridiculous sum of money, but I see that all of Cook's ultimate fan packs are sold out. I'm quite sure Adam would have no trouble selling his.

I can't see me paying $350 for an ultimate fan pack - I CAN see me paying twice that for a front row seat next year.

I had to click on that link just to see what could drive the price so high. This is where I draw the line! $50 for a deluxe fan pack I'd do, but not the ultimate. Unless, of course, it included a lock of Adam's hair! UNFFFFFFF! j/k ;D

Maybe a coffee table book from Lee.....

This article is rlly interesting...it's abt Gaga's drastic sales decline. Some of the points about how the 99 cent gimmick devalued the album and points about artists that appeal to older and younger demos are interesting.. ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/60719602.html#cutid1

The ultimate packs give most of the profit to the artist. It is like the blocks of tickets that the artists get for concerts. Bit here, bit there, it all adds up to covering costs.

Hi everyone - delurking to thank everyone for the kind birthday wishes yesterday and to try my hand at posting, since it's a slow day. There have been so many interesting and clever ideas suggested for the Adam 2 campaign that I'm almost embarrassed to tell you the first thing that popped into my head - lambert , small L , the physics definition. (I live with an engineer A striking photo of Adam, simple, stripped down, shades of light and dark, with the caption; 'lam-bert n: unit of brightness or luminance Get ready to open your minds and let in the light Then I remembered Q3's rule "respect the artist", lol. Whatever form the real campaign takes, I hope it reflects Adam - intelligent, edgy, stylish, with wit and a sense of humor. Since he likes to express himself through photography and creates images that are striking and powerful, I wouldn't mind seeing a series of photos, revealed over time. Maybe starting with just the eyes, then a silhouette or darkened profile, a rear view, or a fist thrust in the air. Just arresting pictures with an enticing caption, no name, to get people wondering who this beautiful creature is. Maybe on various ISP's so you would see it every time you open your email. I can't wait to see what Adam has in mind for himself. P.S. My DH's reaction to my small L definition idea? "how about, get lambert - get lit! " :
