7.2.11 Adam News & Info

Odd thing about Neil, who I do not know but did have two long conversations and a few encounters with him with during the tour, and a few drinks at the bar with in NY (during Alli and Orianthi's sets which I could not listen to 10 times), the no-nonsense curmudgeon seems to be a front.

He was surprisingly kind to fans who gave him things for Adam. I was talking to him at one concert, and a young woman, who seemed nice but was way OTT 'glamberty' and very nervous, gave Neil a special envelope for Adam. Neil very nicely explained that he would need to check it to make sure it was appropriate, made very sweet joke to her to make her smile cause she was so nervous that she looked like she would cry, and after she gave permission, opened it, looked quickly and then put it in his inside jacket pocket. He said, "I'll keep it safe and get it to Adam."

After the NY Nokia #1 concert, I was talking to Neil about if Adam was sick (he told us no, later turned out that Adam was sick, so Neil can lie), the envelope scene above was repeated. It was a little thing but I can't imagine how many times this must happen to him and he could have laughed at her or told her to mail it to the fan club address or whatever else would typically happen. He didn't.

In any case, my impression is that Neil is the one person in the "Glamily" who doesn't get the whole Adam thing at all and doesn't really get it.

I had no interest in Neil or meeting him, and he is the "gatekeeper", but it is odd that I ended up talking to him so much at several concerts. I tried to be non-memorable which is my motus operandi.

Right now the Glam Nation Live CD/DVD is #5 on Amazon's Movers and Shakers list, up 350%.

Haha! As usual, that makes the most sense. I swear Adam has that urban dictionary app; it would explain so much.
