I have no problem with Sherrie getting tweeted by Adam. I was just trying to explain what I believed was happening. I do think that Sherrie promotion is different than DonorsChoose.org promotion --- Just speaking for myself, I want Adam to get recognition for inspiring fans to give to Donors.Choose.org and I want a light shined on DonorsChoose.org because it is a great cause. I do not need to see my name recognized. So I do not think this is the same as what Sherrie does when she does her campaigns which she does very publicly -- just as easily could be anonymous. Finally, Adam's sales are so high that even if Sherrie bought 10,000 WWFM tracks it is a drop in the bucket. It takes a million committed fans to make a star, not a few rich fans. If fans ever think that they are insignificant and their 1 track purchase or concert ticket or vote or tweet doesn't matter, that will be the end of Adam. So as I said, I have no issue with Sherrie but I am also no more impressed by people who have a lot of money making donations or supporting what they believe in, than I am by someone who donates a little because that is all they can afford. If Adam is comfortable with Sherrie so Am I.. Why should I judge someone else who chooses to admire Adam and support him?His fans support him in many different ways. If someone has more money to spend on gifting albums ,etc. so be it.. It's all good. With our government spending less and less on the arts we need people who care about new artists and creativity .

I just wanna say that when i win the big lottery, I'm gonna be throwing money around all over the place. Adam will be on the top of the charts and Cheeks will be on prime time TV. One thing I've learned in my old age is that you really do get more joy out of giving than receiving. Please don't judge me. Thanks in advance. Not only will I not judge you, but I will sing your praises! Top of the charts for Adam and prime time TV for Cheeks--that's exactly where they both belong. Anyone who can help make that happen is okay in my book! Oh--and when you win the lottery, if I could borrow a few bucks, that would be great. Thanks.

#teamdietcoke I'm can't live without my diet coke. I start to shake if someone takes it away. My soul mate. ;D The worse 2 days of the year for me is when I have to go for bloodwork and can't have any caffeine before. I can barely walk when I leave the doctor's office. I always have a Diet Coke waiting in the car or I'd be too weak to drive. For me the real one is always the best.... ;D ;D ;D

Snippet of AFL's Strut played on SYTYCD Canada tonight. Around the 1:10 mark.
ETA - Mszue was quicker on the draw.

Envy has to be one of the most soul-sucking emotions out there and I am as guilty of it as anyone but when I recognize it in myself, I mentally put the brakes on as fast as I am able. What Dr. Ritchie does is called patronage. She is a patron of the arts and her money gives her access. She would not extend that patronage to Adam and company if she were not a fan. That's just the way it is. When you donate small amounts to your local/national political candidate you are promoting a cause you believe in but don't expect that Senator or representative to come knocking on your door. If you donate a lot of money, you expect a dinner or event or handshake. If you donate a shitload of money .... we're talking subsidies or ambassadorships! Now on to more important matters, pudding is still cooling off but the potato salad and bison chili dogs were great! I admire, appreciate and respect Dr. Ritchie's generous support of the arts. She supports many varied artists financially. I'm glad Adam is one of them. Adam noted her birthday. Good for her. Why not? He seems to recognize and/or answer questions-tweets, etc. of other fans as well. I am happy for them too. He's a doll - a sweetheart - gotta love him... ETA - just yesterday he made one fan's day by answering his tweet. I think it's so sweet of him to recognize fans.

She matched Adam's videos send by all of us that sent his albums to the Sister Soldiers project (and there were a lot) and she did it from her heart. Sherrie has a huge heart. At least that has been my experience. She has devoted herself to sponsoring the arts. She doesn't support just top itwo idols but all the others as well. My experiences with Sherrie have all been positive. The kids are lucky to have her support. I understand how you all feel. There are times I wish I was wealthy. I would support more of Adam's charities than I do. But I do the best I can, and try to appreciate what others can do that have more funds.

I've learned that receiving can be a very good practice.. AND tonite's edition of Atop was proudly presented by the friendly folks at DIETCOKE and COCA COLA!! Let's help Adam with product placement, shall we??
