Adam just can't win On Monday 4th July 2011, @cos2mwiz2 said: @adamlambert Hope you know there are thousands of fans out here that "support" you everyday even without being wealthy, and having a pointedly "money talks" access buying agenda. The majority do so without fanfare, some anonymously, many even pushing the limits of their checkbook because they simply appreciate your immense talent...and love you for the phenomenal person you are. They gift thousands of your CDs to family, friends and strangers. They sit in front of their computers, endlessly voting on polls in hopes it will garner you an award. They give hundreds of thousands of dollars to the charities you champion, even when it is a stretch. Giving over time, and for the sake of giving...perhaps for the thrill of seeing a goal met, without needing their donation to be one that gets noticed and praised. Most support you...and your many multi-talented friends without expectations of reward...other than seeing you all rise to the level of success you so richly deserve. Money, screaming at the top of it's lungs for attention, clearly accomplishes a mission, but you have a legion of fans, who've done FAR more. Just sayin' =) Happy 4th! I'm not understanding this drama tweet. Seriously, this person is the one who sounds like the one "screaming entitlement for attention". Adam always acknowledges and appreciates his fans. When he sends a shout out to one fan does that mean he has to shout out to all his fans? : I'm just glad to see a fan appreciate and support Adam....whatever way they choose to do it. JMHO

I think that @cos2mwiz2 hasn't quite thought thru the totality of Adam and the Doc's connection. He's not singleing out a fan he's thanking an employee/friend which he does with all of his employees/friends.

For me, the drama is all a sign of fandom being bored. Without Adam creating much drama at the moment, some of us have resorted to making our own. I have my fingers crossed for pictures from whatever it is Adam and Sauli are up to tonight. New boyfriend pictures would be a great distraction.

Yeah, well, sorry. I follow both Cos2mWiz and artistsupporter, and feel I "know" them on many levels. I'm totally with Cos on this. I think her points are very well articulated. She is just sharing her point of view that those whose contributions don't come with a monetary attachment are no less valid. I actually have no idea why people are reacting with any ire. What she said is honest and true. Most support you...and your many multi-talented friends without expectations of reward...other than seeing you all rise to the level of success you so richly deserve.
Money, screaming at the top of it's lungs for attention, clearly accomplishes a mission, but you have a legion of fans, who've done FAR more. I said the same thing earlier. I backed up Sherrie as a benefactor, an I applaud her with that, but I also completely endorse Cos' position as well. Her position is totally relevant. Just because we don't have a comma on our voucher doesn't make our undying support any less valuable. Sorry about it, I agree.

What's with the Sherrie Ritchie hate? How many people beg Adam for a tweet on their birthday? People are so damned jealous.
It seems everyone loves her when she's gifting albums and tickets. They have short memories. It made me sick to see that mock Twitter account.

I am not letting one tweet from one of Adam many millions of fans harsh my great 4th.
Most avid Adam fans appreciate what Sherrie does, many fans have never heard of her -- back to fireworks -- but I survived the dinner part of the evening.
(4th night of fire works for me in a week -- never thought that I would get board by them and want to steal away for a bit -- but "too much of a good thing" may be too much.)
