What's with the Sherrie Ritchie hate? How many people beg Adam for a tweet on their birthday? People are so damned jealous. It seems everyone loves her when she's gifting albums and tickets. They have short memories. It made me sick to see that mock Twitter account. Me too Pastababy :( >:(

So my son is on his way to Bonnie McKee's party. One of these days, he is bound to meet Adam, LOL. Oh great lynne!!! I'm sure he is!! And since it's your boy, I'm sure Adam will love him and they will become friends and Adam will invite him to a party of his, and your son will invite you to go together to this party!!! I believe!!!

My thought on The Artistsupporter incident.
I believe this should have been done privately.
Just lost some respect for my favorite singer.

After witnessing the quality of Adam's character for two years-- his courage, his talent, his honesty, his kindness, his loyalty to family, friends and fans, his intelligence and his generosity-- all it takes for you is one tweet?

ÉÔÁ. É have NO problem NON at all about Adam's tweet. It probably was a request from his mom about what she's doing for ALF. BUT I have a problem with S. Since I follow her on twitter and I've read some posts and blogs from her, please allow me to question her motives. This ancient Greek saying sums it up for me Ôïí ðëïýôïí ðïëëïß åìßóçóáí, ôçí äüîáí ïõäåßò" "Many people hated wealth , but fame NOBODY"

If he even sees it, Adam will ignore all this bullshit/criticism of Sherrie Ritchie, as well he should. Jealousy is such a pervasive thing.............makes me sad. Just because people express their contrary opinion does not make them jealous. Many people have very complex thoughts on the issue. To dismiss these viewpoints as jealousy is a gross oversimplification, IMO. Just because people have a different fundamental approach does NOT make that person jealous of the originator. They may have a completely different philosophy, which has nothing to do with have and have not. It has to do with perception of integrity and where people lie on that spectrum. People can think anything they want to think and believe anything they want to believe and wish a patron of the arts a Happy Birthday If they choose to. The condescending tone of the tweet however is not called for. I don't think Adam needs to be told how to behave. He has been exceptionally grateful to all his fans. I don't think he has the ability to send out a million Happy Birthdays to each one of us.. "entitlement is not sexy"

I don't think he has the ability to send out a million Happy Birthdays to each one of us.. "entitlement is not sexy" Adam can tweet birthday greetings to anyone he wants -- people (fans or not) also have the right to have an opinion about that. It is not a requirement of being an Adam fan to be a Sherrie Richie fan. Clearly there is more than one way to look at this -- but no one on this thread suggest that Adam send out Birthday greetings to everyone on his Twitter follower list. The only suggestion I read here was that it might have been better if Adam sent Sherrie a Direct Tweet for her Birthday rather than a public tweet. --------- Sherrie and her husband do a lot to support Adam, Kris, other AI8 contestants, Archie and all of Adam's friends, bandmates and associates. She does not do it quietly -- but does it in ways to support these artists and promote them. 10 copies of a iTunes song are not going to do anything on their own -- but promoting it might. ryanloveless Ryan Loveless by Artistsupporter @artistsupporter @social_Glambert I'm gifting 10 copies of new @darrenhayes music US iTunes e-mail to mslovelesswrites@gmail.com. RT for me? On the other side of the spectrum, she gave a large ($10K), very public gift to Scarlett Cherry, but that was the exception, not the rule. But for the most part, she donates small amounts in ways to encourage others to buy or give. JMHO I think in the case of an unknown or forgotten artist, this promo method is a great idea. For a more established artist with a large fanbase, a quieter donation may be a better approach.

Just reached the end of this thread. What fabulously funny gifs!!! Made my morning!
I have no problem with Adam's tweet to Sherrie but I also have no problem with Cos's tweet to Adam. I follow her and have a pretty high opinion of her tweets generally.
The ONLY problem I have had with Sherrie is her position as a mod on ALF. Somehow that seems strange to me since she supports so many other artists as much as (or even more) than Adam.
Maybe I should reconsider before hitting "Post" but what the heck......it's my opinion.
ETA: Apparently she has stepped down from ALF so moot point. Although it seemed odd to me for her to be in that position I would never have dreamed of posting or tweeting anything negative about it until I questioned it today. I wonder if nasty tweets about the Bday thing prompted her move. Hope not.
