But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and is tune is heard on the distant hillfor the caged bird sings of freedom The free bird thinks of another breeze an the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own. But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom. |

Yes freedom for Adam ,no caged bird. I can't imagine the stress in Adam's life right now.. cd sales are down so much that artists can't make a living anymore. Fans anticipate an epic album from Adam and no matter what he puts out there, some will love it and some will be very disappointed. He wants to be true to himself ,yet be a popular pop singer who gets played on the radio. The second album could make or break him.. IMHO Adam is also a perfectionist and can become hyper focused .. and we want a twitter every day. No caged bird for me.
We know how to entertain ourselves.. just wait there will be so much news that we will be over the moon with news.. Just a couple of days more before he gets an award...

I was all "pooped" out after a long and busy work week (sorry can't help the pun with all the hilarious posts from yesterday) that I went to bed early and did not post.
Anyway, when I got home there was a package addressed to me on the kitchen counter. Inside was a starter kit for Enfamil (baby formula) and coupons for future purchases with a note and a baby picture: A little something else to bring home from the hospital.
WUT??? DH looked at me with a twinkle in his eye - "Who's the daddy because I have nothing to do with this! Hmmmmm....... you have been spending a lot of time with Adam the last few months.."
I replied, "it's the MIRACLE BIRTH" !!!!!
