I love Sasha for taping this, the only problem is, when I watched, I would only watch Adam, and screaming "to the left, to the left, just a little bit, that where Adam is...!!" :-/ *sigh* You are me. *sigh* I was actually surprised that she got Adam in it at all. They are all so protective of him. I love hearing his voice in this video too! I think she was throwing us a bone! Bless her!!

Tinafea, you're probably right that he is so wrapped up in the creative process that he isn't thinking about anything else. (except for Sauli We know how he is with time. He probably isn't even aware of how much time has passed since he's interacted with us!I've been thinking about the clues to Adam2 that Q3 posted. I have a feeling that when we hear the album we'll be like "duh, of course, it's exactly like he described". That was my reaction after hearing FYE and then going back to hear how Adam described it before hand. He is someone with a clear vision and goes for it! He wished us a happy 4th of July. That was five days ago. This kind of talk scares me a little. I don't want fans to start fretting every time Adam seems out of touch for a few days. He's entitled to a personal life as well as a professional life. It wasn't that long ago that celebrities had no way of contacting their fans directly. You read about them in a magazine and had no way of knowing whether or not what you were reading was true. A few times a year you might be lucky enough to see your favorite on a talk show. Now we don't hear from Adam in five days and we're speculating about why he's "ignoring" us? Come on, guys! We're all hungry for news, but let's remember that he doesn't owe us anything except his music when it's ready! Anybody want to play a game to pass the time? When I read that tweet about the caged bird, I got a picture in my head of an album cover with Adam dressed in feathers and in a giant cage with the title "Adam Lambert: Caged Bird." What a horrible concept for an album cover that would be! Then I read a post from last night that said Adam's music was "seasoned," and an even worse image popped into my mind: Adam trussed up on a giant silver platter like a Thanksgiving turkey while a disembodied hand holds a salt shaker over him, and the album title is, "Seasoned." I thought it would be funny for people to imagine the very worst album covers for Adam #2. (Just the title "Adam #2" suggests a cover that I don't even want to put into words!) It's like what we did when we came up with funny titles but this time it's visual. Those who are talented at photoshopping could really go to town, but those of us who aren't can just describe the absolute cringe-worthiest album covers possible. Anybody want to play?

On CNN, they're talking about a red carpet event that William and Kate are attending tonight and saying that a bunch of A list Hollywood celebrities will be there. Should we dare hope?

www.evri.com/person/adam-lambert-0x2e96c9America's Finest meets 'American Idol' More than 9,500 starry-eyed singers show up for the Petco auditions By Karla Peterson 5:22 p.m., July 8, 2011 .... “This is my hometown, and I feel like if I were to make it on the show, I would have San Diego on my side,” said America Newell, a 16-year-old student from West Hills High School in Santee. “(2009 runner-up) Adam Lambert had so much support, and seeing how he got to go from being no one to everyone knowing his name and having the whole city with him, that was inspiring.” .... We made more “Idol” noise in 2009, when Lambert almost won it all. The theatrically inclined Mt. Carmel High graduate came in second to Kris Allen, a career blip that was quickly overshadowed by the success of Lambert’s debut album and the Grammy nomination he received last year. ....

I think it's that right now I have too much time on my hands so I notice this.

Adam knows better than anyone how crazy it is going to get in a few months when the PR starts back up for his new music. He knows he is going to have an exhausting schedule with almost no personal time or life. Remember on Idol after WWFM when he talked about how hard he was working? I can totally understand if he wants to store up some private time, some normal time where he is not "on" before he dives in again. And, he is working hard on the music right now. I can imagine that in his mind, he is thinking that he is giving his all to his fans by creating the best art he can. And to create his best art, he must concentrate on being an artist, not a celebrity. I don't want Adam to feel like he has become the "caged bird" singing about his freedom, singing about love, loss, life, celebration, grief, etc but not being allowed his freedom to just experience all that without paps, ninjas, and entitled fans. We all know of artists who became celebrities and gradually lost themselves. I want Adam to do whatever he needs to to avoid going down that road himself. I KNOW that Adam is going to give us more than we can imagine with #2, and he will give his all to promote it. I have come to some peace about letting Adam be until he is ready to break out with new brilliance.

That is exactly the feeling that I had when I was tracking down album quotes and comments. One thing is clear -- he has been on an evolutionary path but the same path since he started talking about Adam #2. If I have missed any really important comment, please posts them. ______________ Regarding the Tweet. I imagine Adam tweeting it and laughing at bit. He is getting a lot of tweet asking him to tweet. So he tweets something that is just a tweet, no deep meaning. No I am sure entire novels will be written about "the tweet". My opinion -- sometimes a tweet is just a tweet.
