I'm reminded of this controversy back in the first season of XFactor USA. Thirteen years old Rachel Crow had never been in the bottom 3, let alone 2 but her competitor Markus was third time in a row in the sing off and was ready to go home. Then this happened; www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq59-4EmSsw&index=2&list=RDre1FBMEUCkwNicole was booed off the stage and even got death threats. She later said she regretted not making a judging decision to keep Rachel. Oh my! This is so gut wrenching to watch.

I just caught up with both shows from this week and I am sad that Chynna had to go. She's an amazing singer and even though her performance of Mercy didn't really grab me her performance of What's up was really terrific.
I was so relieved this morning when I saw that Adam's two were through again. I love them both and am amazed at what these two already can do at such a young age.
Something else I need to get of my chest though: They F*cking auto-tuned the YT of Vlado's performance. How sick is that? I watched the periscope yesterday and it was awe-full. Later I put on the YT for my sister also to watch and we were both: that wasn't that bad. I really doubted my ears (which are pretty good in noticing pitch). Today I watched the full show from the rip and Vlado was awe-full again! They did something to the YT performance to make it acceptable and I really think that's unfair!
I heard last week that they also auto-tuned people's auditions in The Voice of Holland which is airing now again. That really threw me off from these competitions already. They shouldn't mess with that! No wonder the performances in the live shows are so bad if they make the auditions sound better than they were.

Cassie.....and others....I've fallen down the Disturbed rabbithole. LOL. It's kinda Adam related in that they shared the XFactor stage...lol and the bass dude is an Adam fan. Just watched this video about the making of Sound of Silence. I'm very impressed with David Draiman, the lead singer, talking about his musical background, technique etc. Guess I had the obviously wrong opinion of Metal bands/singers being not articulate or intelligent. Boy, was I wrong.

Don't understand this tweet!!!!!!! Why is this a question when his two acts are still in the competition! We can't vote here in America!

I agree, Chynna had a great song, and she sang it really well - but I have never been captivated by her. It will be interesting to see how the results show is going to get tweaked next week...I think I have learned to accept that these type of things aren't always fair. Life in general isn't. I agree with everything you say. She is a good singer, but I didn't find anything unique about her. And if I were to go with a big-voiced gal, I would have gone with Natalie. Heard people like her before (e.g. Jessica Sanchez, etc.) but I thought Natalie was sweet and gorgeous. I actually liked the dance song she did...few pitchy spots...but overall I thought she looked and sounded great. I was crushed when Natalie had to go....may be it was because of Adam, but I loved that performance. I could have watched it over and over.
