If anyone is having problems voting because it says your not logged in, when clearly you are, try logging in again. That happened to me and it worked. Is the voting unlimited? I logged in (didn't even remember that I had an account with VH1 but took a guess at my password and it was accepted!) but it still won't let me vote. >:(

mwp - you have converted me to a Beckham fan, it wasn't really hard. I did not see the US women's World Cup match with Brazil but read about it here: www.slate.com/id/2298923/ and wish I had. So many undercurrents. As I was reading the article yesterday I thought about my niece who loves soccer and started to call and ask her if she watched. I will try to catch the match with France in the semi-finals.

But... If Adam did contemporary country we might get another Ring of Fire! The boy can walk the line 8-) Well an album of ROF is cool with me, but I mean the kind of country that the manufacture in Nashville -- not Adamized country. This stuff -- www.billboard.com/charts/country-songs?begin=21&order=position#/charts/country-songs?begin=1&order=positionThe kind of music done by guy who are required to have a Billboard headshot with a cowboy hat. ETA: If Adam wants to cover the country greats -- Cash, Orbison, Patsy Cline -- I will be first in line. But Adam covers Trace Adkins should be against the law!! And I do not have anything against Country music. Most country music makes my skin crawl. I grew up in the northeast and I don't remember hearing any country music until I moved to Florida. I remember when rock and roll arrived and parents were protesting Elvis and stating that it was going to be the downfall of the USA. I also like male opera singers. I think that comes from my Greek downstair neighbors who played Caruso during my early childhood. We could hear it all over the house. My favorite music is pop, rock, blues, disco, glam, heavy metal, etc. Somehow, country music passed me by. I do like Lady Antebelum's "I need you now." I have never been in love with a singer until Adam, and I still can't figure that one out. Everyday I tell myself that I have a life, and I am not going to think of Adam today. But not a day goes by that I don't think about him and come to my computer to check him out. I cannot think why I am behaving like this. It is still a puzzle to me. I have pictures of Adam all around my desk. I have never hung pictures of any male around my desk - not even my husband or sons. I don't know what is wrong with me. If anyone out there can explain it, please do. Country music - duh, what's that.

Yup that worked for me too! Hit refresh, voted and got a box thanking me for voting. Also seems like the order of the artists changes every time you refresh the page.

Ah, the Trolls. Ignooore them, just ignooore them to quote Hermione Harry Potter, Chamber of Secrets. There is no other way, really, I think to make them STFU and go away. I also believe that the average fan is not online and completely unaffected by troll bullshit

Ferras in SoHo, NYC 7/9/11 This was a happy, happy day. Artistsupporter and I had a lovely dinner and then went to the M&G and concert. The event was held at a boutique hotel in SoHo and the place was gorgeous. The private meeting room was amazing and so was the small theater that held about 100 people. The seats in the theater were leather. Very impressive. One of my friends had called to find out the price of a room and it was $700/night. The M&G: There were about ten of us and we were seated in this beautiful conference room. We sat around a table and when Ferras came in he sat with us. Everyone was well behaved and then I broke the ice. I’ve been tweeting/flirting with Ferras for almost two years and have a crush on him. So I called out “Ferras, my heart is pounding. I can’t hold it in anymore. I love you so much. I’m PastaBaby”. He jumped up and came over to give me a hug. The woman who rode down to the venue with him said that he mentioned my name in the car. He then told the story of how he saw a sign on a restaurant that said Pasta and something and he said aloud “I wonder if PastaBaby will be there tonight”. Needless to say, I was on a cloud after that. Each of us got to take a picture with him. I guess they will be on the fansite. Ferras was presented with a Nicolina Royale necklace that was a gift from the fans. He got choked up. The Concert: There were two opening acts, both excellent. Kylie Edmond opened with a short set and she really captured our attention. Then Caleb Maitland and his band played. I have his album (he was one of the artists that Sherri had gifted to peeps on Twitter) and I was equally impressed with his live performance. Break came and both Kylie and Caleb/band mingled and spoke to us at the bar. Ferras came out and gave a great show. A really great show. He was very chatty with us and b/c it was a small audience there was banter back and forth. He told us a little drinking story and had us laughing. He played songs from his album that has not been released yet as well as songs from his first album. When he sang Aftermath, you could hear a pin drop. After the show, people chatted again, but we didn’t stay long. I helped Sherrie find a cab but decided to walk home instead of being dropped off. The weather was good so I enjoyed the mile and a half walk. Ferras signed this for me:

Pastababy, so happy for you. I have seen your messages to Ferras over the year, and I am thrilled you actually met and hugged him. You just made my day, girl.
