SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I tried voting but it seems nothing is happening? ??? Am I doing something wrong? Is the voting possible outside US? A thing pops up that asks you to Tweet or FB it, but you can bypass it by clicking on the X in the upper-right corner. Regarding no mention of charity:water ... I read many of the other summaries and it looks like they all focus on only one campaign. Someone had the theory that the Trevor Project has more visibility than charity:water right now, which makes sense. Linkin Park's says they designed two T-shirts for tsunami relief. I am pretty sure that during the bands history, they've done much more than that.

Except for Beiber's (isn't it time for him to go away for a few years?!)

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I tried voting but it seems nothing is happening? ??? Am I doing something wrong? Is the voting possible outside US? I'm in the US and I think I'm having a problem also. When I tried to vote, the button just changed to show some zigzag lines; no "thank you" response like most of the other voting polls.

Susie- I'm flailing here with you! But I can't vote. At first I thought it was because I wasn't logged in to VH1, but now I am and I still get nothin' when I click the VOTE button. I'm on IE, which is the only browser I have at work. Maybe it will work better at home on Chrome or Firefox. Do we know what the voting limit is?

Except for Beiber's (isn't it time for him to go away for a few years?!) Oh yeah, I did notice he had two. Gaga has certainly been involved in more campaigns than DADT I imagine too.

NOTW is indeed now defunct and the scandal surrounding it will hopefully mean a shake up of all British newspapers, especially the tabloids. It may even have implications for the future of News International/News Corporation. It's a messy saga involving the tabloids, the Police and the Government. The heart of the recent furore is that NOTW was paying a private investigator to hack into the mobile phones of the aides to Princes William and Harry, various celebrities and politicians. And it was revealed by another newspaper last Monday that they hacked into the phone of an abducted teenager to listen to the messages left by her friends and family. When the inbox got full up, the private investigator for the newspaper deleted messages to make room for new messages. The poor girl had already been murdered but these actions gave her family false hope that she might still be alive. It turns out since this was revealed that they also hacked the phones of families of other murdered children, and families of the victims of the 7/7 terrorist attack in London and families of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is going to be two inquiries into everything, including one about the wider culture of the print media in this country. I hope they will address the fact the tabloids regularly just make stuff up. It might be too little time before Adam's next foray into the UK for this inquiry to have an impact, but times they are a-changing for newspapers here. I hope Rupert Murdoch gets arrested for this. Hard to believe he wouldn't have known about it or even had his evil little hands in it personally. He's such an icky man yet not only gets away with crap like this but comes out of it richer than ever. It's horrifying that the tabloids would treat the families of murder victims and fallen soldiers like this, but it also disturbs me that no one seemed to care that much when it was "just" celebrities who were having their privacy invaded. Being rich and famous shouldn't give anyone the right to listen in on your private conversations. Think of how we'd feel if we learned that Adam's phone had been hacked by tabloid reporters snooping into his personal life. I have a feeling that this scandal is just the tip of a very ugly iceberg and more shocking tactics have yet to be revealed. Switching to a happier subject--I don't remember seeing this interview before. Adam looks amazing! ETA: I can't vote on that Do Something page either. I click the Vote button but don't get any response. I'm on my home computer, using Google Chrome.

If anyone is having problems voting because it says your not logged in, when clearly you are, try logging in again. That happened to me and it worked.
Is the voting unlimited?

Cookie, I am on Explorer and have no problem voting. Maybe your work site just has a filter? Regarding voting, I went to VH1 to checkout their new voting procedure. You definitely have to use either Facebook or Twitter to vote. Also, only 20 votes a day. I actually like the 20 votes a day rule. So, I just opened up 2 fake Facebook accounts using other e-mails I have so they will not access my real information and so it doesn't get posted to my real pages. Hmm...not many filters where I work (it's a university- academic freedom issues mean they make it hard to get approved to use the system, but then you can go most anywhere you want once you're on). I don't think I clicked the twitter box. I'll go back and try again. As much as I got burned out on voting there for a while, if feels good to have something Adam-productive to do again.
