In any case, the real idiocy are those people who decided to advertise the info. Peeps put 2+2 together to figure out which house was Adam's? Ok. whatever. Bound to happen. BROADCASTING that - not ok.
The pics are in several publictaions in articles about the architect! The first was in May. No one made the connection until after we saw party pics. No party pics= no connection
With the party pics we have seen, it is obvious to any on-line fan that it is Adam's house. One of the articles has the address. From there, the stans may have delved further.
Now, hacking into his personal Facebook or his friends', that is bad. If you are referring to the hack I heard about 2 weeks ago, it was a completely different house they had discovered. 100% wrong!
I guess the "mother hen" thing just bugs me. I was apalled last night also. But after I saw the 3 articles, I changed my mind. Adam rented a famous house. With his 10 years in the area, I would be very surprised if he didn't know that.
Yep. The Facebook hacking is inexcusable and Adam had to deal with similar when he first got on Twitter, etc. It's entirely possible it's a hater or stranger who did the hacking. (It was random dudes during the Twitter-hacking ordeal of 2009, wasn't it?)
Thing is, Adam seems to learn faster than the crazies. He's been able to lock down news of the album, etc. He has been able to drop out of sight when he wants to (the month at Sunset Marquis, the week in Miami ...)
He's largely managed to do the impossible – out-ninja the ninjas (the man has a very steep learning curve).
I think it's a huge generalization to think Adam's fans are any more crazy than any other invested fan out there. Actually, I think major stars have more protection than the minor ones, who can still have very invested (and possibly unbalanced) fans – or haters.
I'm more insanely happy that he has a DREAM HOUSE, he's sharing with his DREAM MAN and he's working on his DREAM ALBUM. (Gah, he has an awesome life right now!!!)
The rest is just part of being a celebrity. And shit, if I could live in that house for a month, I think I'd deal.
