Good for Adam, no more lonely nights! Hopefully the dog will adapt to Adam's sleep pattern. That needing to go outside or wanting to be fed at the crack of dawn doesn't exactly mesh with Adam's preferred 4 am to Noon sleep cycle. 😴 😴 😴 😴

One of our sons adopted a Jack Russell while he worked nights and it was pretty challenging. Then when he tried to adopt a second one it was a disaster! Dogs need a routine... Though if Adam sticks religiously to the same sleep cycle I guess Pharaoh could adapt. (I know there are night owls and apparently Adam is one, lol, but I never have been and I don't get it! I hate wasting a minute of daylight!)

She never needed to go outside before 10am, and she had incredible bladder control. Occasionally, just sliding the door open to the backyard helped too.

Hazel is Adam's dad's dog. Pharaoh was originally Max, Adam got him from a rehoming centre. Clever Graciejane found Max on the rehoming centre's website and posted about it yesterday. For this, as well as the picture of Hazel, I was praising her. Seems my double praise (for Hazel and Max/Pharaoh) got a bit lost in translation! Sorry! Thanks, but to be fair I don't know for certain that is the same dog. He certainly appears to be but coincidences do happen. True - especially the name change. I don't think it's fair to the dog myself - although I wouldn't dream of judging Adam for doing it - if this IS Max.

There will have to be many adjustments made I imagine. Do dogs adapt to you or you to their schedule? LOL. I have no idea. I like Pharaoh's face....pretty eyes, mouth, expression and perky ears.....and the fluffy tail adds floofy flair. The tail ups the cute factor IMO An Adam dog needs a touch of floofy flair....lol.

If Max is the same dog the center got him in November already. It could very well be that Adam saw him before and thought about it for some time. Maybe he can talk about it in an interview or something later. Walk Me Home Rescue Group added 2 new photos 19 November 2016 · Welcome Max to our Rescue Family . Max is a 2 1/2 basenji mix ,weighs 16 pounds , neutered , shots and microchipped. Max is dog , cat and people friendly . Best thing about Max as we're just getting to know him . He LOVES Children. I think a dog could adjust to the weird hours as long as he's loved. Just to add a little context, my kids adapted to the schedule until we settled down and they went to school. lol I wonder if Adam will take him on his travels!!!!!!
