I thought Max might be Adam's dog because of the collar Adam's dog is wearing in that first snapchat of Adam walking Pharaoh. It's barely peeking out from the halter. It looks like it could be the same blue/turquoise collar that Max is wearing. lol I also looked closely at those blue collars yesterday and I thought they looked different!

It actually doesn't have to be difficult or confusing to the dog to make a name change. In this case, just calling him Max-pharaoh for a while - week or so - and then just shortening it to Pharaoh should accomplish the change easily - for Pharaoh and Adam. It works.

I was thinking about sleep pattern adjustments too haha, but then again, I used to have a dog that adjusted really well to my sleep/wake cycles. She never needed to go outside before 10am, and she had incredible bladder control. Occasionally, just sliding the door open to the backyard helped too. There are pet doors that allow the pet to take himself out and in...and special collars that only allow a specific pet in and out....to keep out unwanted masked intruders, etc. Nice!!! One thing less to worry about for our fandom haha.

Just saw on Twitter that Ryan Murphy is now writing his next AHS season and he said it would be set in modern times and he's only cast two of his characters. I know somebody who would love a small role.....j/s. Also noticed that Ariana Grande and John Legend are singing the theme song for the new Beauty and the Beast movie. I know somebody who might be available for something like this as well. I feel that Adam will be involved in the Freddie Biopic. In addition to a small role, would love a new movie theme song written by Brian and Roger with Adam on vocals, etc.

I am so glad that Adam is feeling able to get a dog. A dog makes a great companion. Adam seems so social and loving, I'm sure that he felt that big empty house needed some life in it! I can imagine the sound of Pharaoh click clacking across the hardwood floors looking for Adam. Talking about looking for Adam, have any Ninja sleuths found the nearest dog park? lol I wonder if there will be increased chances for local and "passionate" fans to spot Adam in the vicinity here and there as he needs to get the dog out Not sure how private Adam is in his neighborhood.

Point taken, and thanks to everyone else who replied to my comment regarding changing a dog's name. I'm happy to learn that they adapt easily. I feel that it shows a lack of respect to the dog in the same way that you wouldn't change an older adopted child's name. When I got my 3 year-old Blackie, despite thinking the name was a little lacking in originality (!!), it never occurred to me to change it. I understand that everyone who's replied thinks differently though and that's fine. I think no less of Adam for his decision in changing the dog's original name to one he prefers.
