Q3 - I don't mean to discuss MJ's here, but someone said there that Rick Dees (I know he's one of the DJ?) had a melt down of his radio show one morning because he found out Adam Lambert was paid 300-400K for the first night and $250k for the 2nd night. If this is true, it meant he got paid almost 1mill in two nights show. WOW.. WOW.. that's our Adam. They really sees him as a Super Star already if they're willing to pay him that much of money for a new kid in the block.

How much do we love this guy? He is so dear and so sweet and so loving. As a parent, I feel so happy for his parents because they raised a beautiful person. Adam just makes me feel good about the world.

Just got home and catching up on the news. Good for Adam! I'm glad Adam is able to have all the dimmers He wants! Listen to the beginning of this interview And frankly I'm bored with the butthurt going on the "other" idol sites where they are trying to say Adam didn't work dam hard for everything He has achieved over the last two years.

Listen to the beginning of this interview Thanks again Adamme. KK does say that he knows Adam risked his own money. Wish I knew more - not that it matters, it's just curiosity. Helps me know more about the music biz, and I have a son in a band so I'm always interested. (Even though small label indie is pretty darned different from major label...) I know in my son's band's case they risk their own money in that when they start out they run up bills for travel, motels, money owed to their other touring musician, etc., but then pay those bills off as money comes in. And, of course, they have to pay themselves last, so there is always risk. But they do not act as promoters. I'm sure I'll learn more in bits and pieces over time. peace&love Yes.. And maybe that's the reason why he chose the medium size venues because he could only afford to fund that size. He didn't expect to be a lot of sold out venues. And he started adding dates. :-/

What had been uncomfortable, overheated, claustrophobic and stuffy and a little boring (sorry Oranthi) turned into some kind of sultry underground happening once Adam started. His voice, the lazers illuminating the steam in the small space, the throbbing beat, his catlike movements, me and my date loved it. The dynamic in the place changed immediately. Yeah, it definitely pushed me into uber fan. Portland was my hometown show and I loved it. I sat in the first row balcony because I couldn't stand at all (broke my foot a month before the show and had a boot on my left foot. Didn't stop me from driving from Seattle to Portland though.) That stage has to be one of the smallest in GNT. One of the coolest things was the jumping around by the fans. The Crystal is an old dance floor and has a lot of spring. I could literally see the floor "bounce" from the balcony.
