I'mma sooooooooooooo....... happy for Liam @liammcewan: Thank you all for listening today! Most successful show so far with over 17,000 listeners worldwide! OMG! I LOVE this number, because it means that the "core" fandom is much much bigger than I thought. The number that seemed right to me was about 5-10K, but the 17K listening to Liam's program means that we are probably somewhere in the 25-35K range. I am THRILLED!!!! what show is this?

The number that seemed right to me was about 5-10K, but the 17K listening to Liam's program means that we are probably somewhere in the 25-35K range. I am THRILLED!!!! Hadn't thought about it that way, but you make a good point. I certainly consider myself a totally committed fan/stan. However, I don't listen to the program. Probably will when new music is released, but for now, I listen to my iPod. I can't be the only core fan who does not listen in to the radio program. So, your 25-35K range may even be an underestimate. I enjoy Liam's program very much, but I was out to lunch with my local stan group. There are 10 to 12 of us that are as crazy about him as anyone. We know of more in the region, but we haven't hooked up for whatever reason. None are Atoppers (despite my pimping). One lurks though Terry! I didn't make it home tonight in time to listen to the show; it would have been 17,001! And I know the other 10 weren't there either. Four were on their way to see an "X Factor" taping.

Eri9, thank you gurl for posting your recap and sharing it with us all - I loved it and it is so special for me because a) you are only one of three Kiwi's who saw GNT in the US (me being the first one I think...lol) and b) I now know you personally lovely lady {{{HUG}}} #bondingmomenthere @catz: Awesome audience for Liam!! When I met him a few weeks ago, he said the average audience was about 16,000 which struck me as amazing!!! So happy that numbers continue to increase, and I'm sure with #2 it will go even higher. Just hope he gets that interview we all want!!! :D Yes, we are a small but priviledged group aren't we?!! I did read a post on AO from another kiwi who said they were at Costa Mesa, (not Tracy) but never managed to find out more or if it was genuine or not, so sticking with it being just the three of us!! :D So sending back your way! Hope we can catch up in person again soon. SusieFierce: Glad you're betterer these days. Hope you continue to stay in good health!

LOL, Kapsiz, that wasn't my clipboard in SF; the line was organized by peeps who'd slept out to get good places for the GA section. SF1 I had an assigned seat The only place I started the numbered list was the next day at the Thunder Valley concert because I knew it was gonna be a million degrees out and couldn't bear the idea of having to sit in the sun all day long. OK - my bad :-/ Remember the one at TV & Anthro talked about your "organizational" skills on several occasions - I guess I just assumed that was your doing also! :-/

Thank you for all the constructive responses on my opinion about the Norway situation. I didn't want to nag, I just wanted to point out how people mourning for the most familiar and easy to relate tragedy could end as unintended distasteful statement of persons' priorities. And you guys totally got it. *hugs you all* For example, if one has refrained from tweeting about Norway, tweeting about Amy would have been distasteful (in the context that the tweeter could be assumed to be aware of the situation). Also, twitter is so fast and so unique a media that it looks like an hour is enough of respectful silence after tweeting about a tragedy and then going back to the schedule with "here are my tour dates" and "look of this nifty thing that I found!"
