After reading all these tweets, and posts of those of us that are going, I'm seriously kicking myself for not throwing caution to the wind, and buying a ticket and flying down there to the festival. And I'm off for vacation this week too... awwww.... you should have gone with momtomany!!!

I'm starting to get so excited about the concert that I can't sleep. This is the first concert I'm able to follow on-line because during the Moscow one I was sitting in a car for 1200km traveling across Finland. I have never been to Adam's concert and haven't been able to buy the DVD yet but youtube has been great. Getting to follow everything in real-time in here is starting to feel to me almost like I was going to the concert myself. It has been so nice to read all those comments from people there and see the pictures of the place It's already past midnight here and I really should sleep, but I'm anxiously waiting for pictures. Can someone give me a guess how many hours until there might be arrival pictures of Adam or something? It is exciting! I'd get some sleep if I were you, it's probably several hours before Adam arrives (if that tweet is legit), and it can often be long after that before pics come if they do. It's more fun IMO if you are awake for the immediately pre-concert, during and/or post concert time than this far ahead.

Silly me, was trying to save for his next tour, thinking that I'm alright since I already went to 5 concerts already, forgetting that it's these one off concerts that are truly epic and kind of transcends the regular GNT concerts, like RMT, Fantasy Springs, Moscow etc... I'll be alright though, just going to live through the tweets and videos. I'm already feeling better, looking at all the comments, starting to make me feel like I'm there :D

Sorry if my question about the Do Something VH1 poll sounded dumb. It just seemed odd to me that they would present an award based on fan spamming voting. Jazzrocks, just logged in quickly to say I didn't think your question sounded dumb at all. there is something weird about just clicking away into the ether--feels kinda silly. I agree, it seems a ridiculous way to test anything. And there's always the suspicion that we're just being manipulated or taken advantage of for ad revenue, which, after all, is what's happening, no matter how faithfully they are also counting our votes. so I totally got where you were coming from. however, I guess as far as the Do something awards go, as it turns out, the willingness of someone's fans to do something silly like click a little box online over and over and over again directly correlates to their willingness to do something much less silly--that is, rally behind the object of their admiration to donate, or get involved in some other way, to achieve really positive change in the world. So that's something, at least.
