I am playing Outlaws of Love from youtube and hubby walks in and says "Whose that? thought you were listening to the concert" ......I said it is Adam and its a new song. As he walks from the den, he says ...Hmmm sounded like KD Lang. Don't know whether to laugh or cry. Blasphemy!!! I think KD has one of the most gorgeous voices ever--melts me. I think it's a compliment. And the lyrics apply to her as well. I was ready to go to bed when I saw this. KD Lang Hell Yeah! I want Adam to sing with her. Was thinking about it yesterday while I was listening to KD's Halleluiah on my I Pod. It has to happen. It would be perfect. |

Adam's new song reminds me of a song by a rock band which I just can't put my finger on. I mean the emotions of it. The song is talking about the band and they are "strung out from the road" and they go into a diner and people say "is that a woman or a man?" The raw truth of the emotions... you thinking of Bob Seger? I think he has a song like that.. I am hearing it in my head buy can't get it out right now.. |

The new song is really emotional, but I wonder what he was talking about (must be about more than the one song). Cookie, I think I got the same vibe... kind of interesting and weard tweet. I didn't remember reading that the band tweeted about how excited they're to do this concert, which they usually did tweet something before a special concert. Not sure the quiteness of the band because Adam's going to perform this new song or there 's something else. :-/ (I got here very late so I was just trying to read the whole thread) |

Are you thinking of "Turn the Page" Bob Seegar? I think this was much more haunting and ethereal but it could be different on the album. It does have that slow, desparate ache to it. |
