Compilation of Adam and Sauli from Coachella. There's some footage I hadn't seen before.....a little after 4:10 Adam smoking a joint and then him going over to talk with Lorde and it looks like she might be explaining to her friend who Adam is or what he said.....just guessing.
For the Sauliberts.......nice shot of Adam putting his arm on Sauli's shoulder. :D

That interviewer is adorable!! So cute! I would say she is a Glambert! It's been a while since we've had an interview of any length. I love how he speaks so thoughtfully. Never just blows anything off. His voice is like melted butter and his beautiful face is like a Greek sculpture.

I have 2 thoughts on Katy being an Idol judge (besides that i think she will be incredibly good) 1) Idol went to DMG for Adam and DMG said, you know, "Katy is available!" 2) Idol never was in negotiations for Kelly. Sorry, but as far as star status, Kelly is no Katy! I think Kelly was never on the table because they knew she had signed with the Voice. Here's my perfect fairytale...Katy tells Idol, "sure, I'll do it, if Adam will be on board too" - I'm sure that DMG has no objections to that. I agree. I think Katy should just pull rank and say she'll do it IF Adam is on the panel. I don't think that will happen but it's my fantasy scenario.

I don't understand the pop music business, TV reality shows, TV singing competitions, etc. etc. But it seems to me that Adam would be a dream catch as a judge for Idol. He is the most successful male alumnae, he is gorgeous, he is a fashion plate, he is knowledgeable, he is utterly charming, he is witty, he is the best male pop singer of his generation, and he is a pleasure to work with, very down to earth, very kind, very un-diva-ish.
Having said that, I am not sure at this point in his life/career he wants to do Idol. It could be very lucrative, but I don't think money is a top priority for him. It might be a boost to his fame and recognition, but fame is not his goal. One of his driving motivations is artistic creativity. I don't see Idol offering that to him. He is, at his core, an entertainer, a performer. Idol was his launching pad, but being a judge is not, or at least should not be about performing or entertaining. I question if he wants to make that kind of a commitment to reality TV rather than doing something new and artistically exciting.

I go with #2. *** I think ABC needed a big name and someone with a lot of female fans between 18 and 35 years old to convince advertisers to buying Idol packages -- and hard to think of anyone better for the target demo than Katy Perry.

Press. Face time, oppurtunities, cred. This wold be a big boost to his career. Being on a panel with Katy Perry. Imagine the exposure? He cold be on it for a season. Get tons of promo for his own music. G0 on do a solo tour. No biggie.

I know nothing about the buisness. But you would think Katy, Adam, Daughtry would be a great panel.
