I wonder if Just Jared, USA Today, Yahoo Music, Towelroad and all the others that posted about the new "song" think this is the new single? DL'd a couple more vids. Making progress!! No I do not think that anyone in the music/entertainment press believes this is the new single. This appears to be an album track -- . My guess is that he chose to use this song as the first song from the album we got to hear because 1. The message is very important to him -- and it as clearly a very personal statement, and 2. He wanted to have it posted on YT to generate buzz for the new album, and 3. He wanted to emphasis that he in a singer-songwriter. And Adam's comment about it being posted on YouTube seemed to be said with a wink -- like he wanted it posted.

Thanks for the correction guys - I saw the tweet out of context. For some reason, my computer absolutely hates twitter and I get garbled tweets between freezes.

ETA: Just saw Q3's recap. Some new information. I hope you'll expound on it tomorrow? Every tidbit is interesting. I will post something in tomorrow's news when I gather my wits a bit. This concert was a very powerful event -- and it is hard to express. I plan to attempt to present my view but I believe it affected many people very differently. One last stray item -- there were literally hundreds of people videoing and recording this concert. I have not seen any video from the right side of the stage -- but it no doubt will surface. The audience was divided in half by a fence. The best recordings should be from the right side center about 10-20 people back from the stage. We were just left of center about 12 -15 people from that stage. There was more disruptive noise came from the left side.

that reminds me - this "We can't change" line was the only one bothering me in this song. Seems so "anti-Adam" to me in that it's so - IDK, hopeless and defeated? But then I guess, after some people didn't like him saying "who I CHOOSE to sleep with" in It Gets Better vid, because they felt he should acknowledge the "born this way" factor, - maybe this was his nod to that? Still. The song IS about pain and struggle for freedom and better world, but the tone of it doesn't feel hopeless, it's strong and full of love. And this line just - IDK, rubs me the wrong way each time I listen. ("We can't change" - like "we want to, but can't"? First, we CAN change anything we want to change, but second, why would we WANT to change who we love? I say, just tell anyone asking us to change that to GTFO, eh? ) I don't see that line as being hopeless and defeated at all--more like quietly defiant. It's not saying, "We want to change but we can't"; it's saying, "Some people want us to change but we can't--because this is who we are." Sort of a nicer and more succinct way of saying, "We're here, we're queer, get used to it."

Adam certainly knows his fans and thanks to Suz, the first video was posted very quickly. Since none of the videos have been pulled, do you think this was all done with RCA's blessing?

The thousands of GNT vids prove that!

One of my first memories of armpit lust was when we were flailing about them on TWoP back during Idol tour days and Eber (posting as Dadalus) joined in. I was mortified. there was no proof that those posts were eber and many, including myself, think it was a fraud.
