completely off every topic. I was searching youtube for recent Adam's videos and found this WWFM cover It's a Greek duet. Searching their youtube channel I saw at the pianist's facebook page that he is an Adam fan. I also saw one of the comments saying that the singer was at the Greek X factor and then I remembered him. Anyway I'm posting for two reasons. They have uploaded only 3 covers and WWFM is one of them. The other two are Rolling in the deep and the edge of glory. These videos are showing one more time how difficult it is to cover Adam's songs. ( Same thing with rolling in the deep.) the other two songs: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcHuEmXlr8k&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=GDI4ihbWYTA&feature=related

James, Adam's current sound guy was there for this concert and talk to some fans. You may recall that he is the 7th person to do the sound for Adam since GNT started. I believe he joined the tour in July. In any case, he spoke at length about how hard a job it is doing sound for Adam -- and gave many details about the care/intensity Adam has about getting the sound right. James previously did sound for Beyonce and said that Adam is paying him more than Beyonce paid him. People literally fly from thousands of miles away to experience a live Adam performance I want Adam to be a divo about the sound. But there is no question that Adam must be a PITA about his sound. Based on the info James relayed to these fans -- and I have spoken to James at other concerts and hear similar things -- and I personally head the story about Adam's demanding approach to the sound quality and mix. It is just one more reminder that Adam is in control of everything and knows exactly what he wants. There is not some tour manager or production managers doing all the work and planning, and the star just walks on when it is time for a brief sound check and then for the performance. Thanks for sharing this. I love reading about Adam the competent and involved boss

I have been to many US GNT concerts and was (obviously) at the Ste. Agathe en Feux concert. The audience was similar to most of the other Adam concerts I attended -- except most people were speaking French. The audience was hard to classify because it was so diverse. Literally I saw people who were 5 to mid-80's. And every concert that was not restricted to 21 and over (casino shows) that I attended was loaded with young teenage fans, men, women, straight, gay, and just generally diverse. I loved this about every show I have been too as well!! It's just one more thing that gives me hope. It's been good interacting with ya'll today. Got to go interact with life here now. Peace out, good people

It could be that girls accept out girls more easily than boys accept out boys, I don't know. But I will say this- from what I see at my school, the mothers of the next generation will look at sexuality in a far more fluid way than did the mothers of my generation. It may have something to due with our society being patriachical and being effeminate taking away a man's "masculinity" in the eyes of said society. Even liberal straight guys need to "affirm" their masculinity or sexuality when supporting gays.

I don't think that there were anywhere near 9,000 at the concert. I would guess maybe 4,500. They may have sold more but I don't think that many were there. Most people I talked to thought 4-5k I spoke to the Festival Director -- they sold over 9,000 tickets through Thursday and it was full to the back including the stands. It was a very wide venue and V shaped audience. If it was an average of 80 people in a row (I think that is conservative) that is only about 120 rows back. I have no idea how many people were there but certainly more than Las Vegas which was a similar shape and that was 6K including the comps.

I don't think it's OT. I think he's pretty good. And I think it's even more great that they're fans. I will copy your post and paste it to the thread of Adam's covers.

I don't really know what he's referring to, but this "swag" term is liberally used in SYTYCD episodes and interviews. So maybe he's been watching Sasha? ETA: Rihannsu, LOL. You answered this earlier... ;D

Audio is great on this. Anyone have a download of it???? Please? (I can't find the post from earlier with the name of the program to convert yt to mp3.) The one I use is FreeStudio. www.dvdvideosoft.com. There's lots of different options but I just used the Free YouTube to MP3 to do exactly this. Took a couple of minutes. I use all of these all the time :D
