lets hope casual fans of adam don't get tired of his media blitz when it happens. IMO big difference between a well conceived media blitz to coincide with the release of an album and oversaturating the market over the long term. Adam would have to be on my teevee every day for three years to reach Gaga levels of overexposure. Plus tour constantly, take no breaks between albums, and release a new single every month which gets overplayed right along with all the other eleventy million singles. I'm the most casual of Gaga fans and she's everywhere I turn- I can't imagine how the hard core keep up. It's really not a life I would wish on Adam. There's more to him than that and I think he puts a great deal of effort into his attempts to remain balanced and fulfilled. IMO Gaga could learn a lot from him. |

I love birthdays. Mine especially. Being a Leo, I can't help it. Thanks to everyone here for your lovely birthday wishes and for engaging with me yesterday in good conversation. I loved the many insights, the feedback and the support.

I assume he's in hiding from Adam Lambert fans even as I write this. Was it an insult or Was Jerry Lewis trying to make a joke that's not funny? A lot of artists (incl comedian) were/are waiting tables before they could make it, what's the diff with working in McDonalds if the kids actually have singing talent. Weather some people like the way AI find the talent or not, these talents get chances to be heard/noticed. Some people who actually has talent don't know where to go, even if they know, most of the time they got rejected/overlooked by these producers. For example Adam Lambert, after 10 years trying, what the chances for Adam to get sign if he's not join AI? Another Adam example: few years ago a group of producers from UMG actually have heard/seen him performed in a club in LA and one of them saw his potential and interested in his talent, but the others said he's not what they're looking for. So last year, this one guy (UMG International) saw his concert in HK and he was bangin his head (regret) for not signed him (done with ranting) AND.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMW ;D |

Thanks, Lynneville. So many of you have given me great information about mp3/mp4 converters but I'm just afraid I'll mess my computer up if I download them. I've had many a virus :( and I guess it just made me too cautious! |

Just to toss this in, I'm actually digging Gaga's latest musical incarnation. Born This Way's lyrics give me chills every fucking time. The more artists that sing equality, the better. Adam is part of this movement and embraces her as well.

i just got this weird pop-up dialogue box to open a cgi-adamtopia file. clicked cancel right away. i don't remember clicking on anything to get it. The guy at Norton security told me if you get a weird pop-up window not to open it but to press Alt/F4 at the same time to get it off your computer and not to hit Cancel[/color] or the X[/color] because the virus can get in that way.[/quote] I was surprised b/c it had "adamtopia" in it and thought I clicked on something instead of the new page arrow. I guess I'll have to see what happens now. I'm going to write down the Alt F4 for future ref. Thx for the info. |
