Wow! What happens in a situation like this...if they just started their concert...do the fans get their money back? What a truly unprofessional thing to do. If the fans can be there willing to stand the heat to see you perform...you better show some respect and damn well better perform!JMHO I wonder if they were booed? >:( They rescheduled for Sept. Not sure Dallas or Houston will be much cooler then! I would ask for my money back. They would have lost a fan. :( There was some suggestion that there were some ~substance issues involved as well, not just the heat (I read that somewhere, so who knows where the truth lies). ETA: And I see I was late to the conversation, so Nevermind! Carry On! |

Tyler Stewart is the Canadian drummer for Barenaked Ladies Ya think some AFL fans are sending him some great concert vids by now?!  Didn't Kris open for Barenaked Ladies at one point? I wonder if that was a tease and/or baiting tweet. |

Hi everyone! Just delurking to say thanks to all of you for all the wonderful Adam goodies and beautiful, thoughtful posts on this site. Spent last night and this morning catching up on all the concert news and the amazing new song. Also, the posts from everyone yesterday really made me choke up, too--you are all so amazing. Happy birthday AMW (and everyone else that's been celebrating another year recently!). I am not on twitter, so I was wondering, has anyone tweeted the Outlaws of Love video to The Ellen Show? She loves Adam so much and I can see her mentioning it on her show. Also, I was thinking Outlaws of Love would work really well in an episode of True Blood. What do you think? OTT, but if some of you wonderful folks could find it in your hearts to send your light and love toward a friend of mine who has just had a recurrence of cancer (a rare soft-tissue cancer, the name of which is escaping me right now), I would be so grateful. Her name is Angie and she is a creative, lovely person. She reminds me of Adam in that she is always positive, even when facing the difficulties of this disease for the past three years. She and my husband went to art school together and I have become friends with her through him. We found out she was not doing well again this weekend and I'm trying to remain optimistic. Thanks for any positive thoughts you can send her way. Thanks again, all. Atoppers are the best! Sending positive thoughts for Angie!! |

I swear I read something here about Adam playing at the "Slaughterhouse" in relation to Neil's tweet about Kings of Leon and their cancellation of their Dallas concert. For those of you who know me, I am a HUGE fan of the Lubbock (Slaughterhouse) concert, where it was at least 110 degrees INSIDE the hall. In preparations for my salute to this one of a kind concert, I have found a NEVER BEFORE SEEN video of WLL on my laptop. Can someone please pm me instructions on how to convert it to a YT? This vid is really up close, personal, and amazingly fierce, I must share! Thanks! I would love to see this! Uploading to youtube is pretty easy as long as the file is in a format it supports and it is not too big. Open a youtube account and you will find an "upload" button to the right of the search box on your account page.
