Re: the fan that Adam is gesturing to in the DTRH video - I believe that she said a couple of days ago that she had flashing lights or some such thing afixed to herself. She is the girl from way back at the MuchMusic interview. She is an absolute riot and has camped out many times (for long periods of time) to see her favourite artiists

The passive aggressive pile on that has defined today's forum is really disturbing. If ad hominums are not allowed .... they are not allowed, regardless of who makes them. If some pile ons are allowed and some not, it smacks of favoritism and can only lead to a nasty site. The kindness and intelligence of posters is what makes this forum so special and it scares me to see such activity. I am not pointing to any one person as the pile-on was quite widespread....and it keeps resurfacing...not ending on p8, sadly. Hope this does not make me a target and I really, really love and respect this place. Sarcasm and nastiness is viral and seductive...especially in a virtual, almost anonymous milieu [sp?] virtual hugs...all round... I think I am the only mod on here at the moment, so I will try to reply. This is generally a happy, glittery place. But, occasionally we wander down a more contentious path. It is challenging as a mod to determine if and when to step in, how to redirect, what to modify, what to delete. We don't want to be the forum gestapo. And what offends one person reading may not another. We ask that if someone posts something you think is off-topic, inflammatory, troll-generated, or a personal attack on someone, you click on the link to report the post. Whatever mod is on the thread at the time will attend to it immediately. Please do not enter into a debate or a war of words or wits with the poster. It just stirs up the crud more. And, if a mod asks that the subject be dropped, please respect that. Modding this forum is not a science. We use our best judgment. Sometimes we may let something remain that would have been better to delete. Sometimes we may delete something that could remain under the guidelines. We do our best. My guideline is to remove anything that is obviously intended to provoke, obviously off-topic, or that addresses the person posting directly, making it a personal argument rather than a lively discussion. I'm just doing the best I can to keep this a welcoming, accepting, happy place.

So is baiting and then playing innocent, especially when it's a pattern. ITA

But doesn't it make you want to see what he was seeing? (No? Just me?! LOL!) you are not aloneeee..(tmAFL) Hahah.. I did want to see what prompted that response.. and I agree with your thoughts on the next tour.. I am really hoping, as much as we want to see him in an areana for validation etc.., I do think it a bit to soon for that..the next step up is a very good start..and I do think he is aware of it..

I felt really uncomfortable this morning reading all the back and forth from a few people. What a downer after the awesome posts from yesterday! Atop is such a wonderful place to oogle and oggle and squee and flail and generally just act ridiculously happy about all things Adam. IMO, that is what Adamtopia is all about. I hope to not have to experience such negativity and bashing here...... just sayin......

She may have tweeted about the lights at the concert.

@adamlambert Adam Lambert McQueen Exhibit at the MET was gorgeous!! (although too crowded...worth it) So he was there! Glad Adam got to see the show. In case anyone is interested, the Met has a brief video tour of the exhibition on its website, along with some additional background info and some beautiful photographs. Here is the link: blog.metmuseum.org/alexandermcqueen/about/
