LMAO at the US magazine hoopla, the "journalist" who wrote the piece is saying that Adam lied, that according to his tape, Adam didn't say near future, but just future, and angry that Adam didn't contact them to change but instead took it out on them on twitter.
Even though at first I wasn't to keen on Adam's second tweet regarding the whole US magazine marriage fiasco, unless I hear that tape I'm gonna stick with Adam on this, those tabloids always misquote celebs just to get the juiciest headlines.

The passive aggressive pile on that has defined today's forum is really disturbing. If ad hominums are not allowed .... they are not allowed, regardless of who makes them. If some pile ons are allowed and some not, it smacks of favoritism and can only lead to a nasty site. The kindness and intelligence of posters is what makes this forum so special and it scares me to see such activity. I am not pointing to any one person as the pile-on was quite widespread....and it keeps resurfacing...not ending on p8, sadly. Hope this does not make me a target and I really, really love and respect this place. Sarcasm and nastiness is viral and seductive...especially in a virtual, almost anonymous milieu [sp?] virtual hugs...all round... Just a general comment from my experience on message boards. So is baiting and then playing innocent, especially when it's a pattern. I also agree that next tour Adam will be in midsize venues. "Midsize" is defined in the industry as 5,000-10,000; I know that because Pacific Amphitheatre won an award last year for being top venue in this size designation and Adam was credited (as were the other artists that played there) in the press release for its excellent season. Adam may sprinkle in some smaller venues (I say 2K minimum), but that 116-show tour was brutal, so I doubt if he will be in a hurry to do anything like that again. I predict he will want to up the production value of his stage show, which will require a bigger budget and it may not even work in smaller venues because it just won't fit. He connected extremely well when on the Idol tour and I have seen him in venues of 5,000+ and he had no problem connecting there either. Is it going to be a bare-fisted brawl in those mosh pits? Yes, probably. But I'll go ahead and get my armor ... I'mma going in!

Re: the fan that Adam is gesturing to in the DTRH video - I believe that she said a couple of days ago that she had flashing lights or some such thing afixed to herself. She is the girl from way back at the MuchMusic interview. She is an absolute riot and has camped out many times (for long periods of time) to see her favourite artiists Oh is it JAMIE?

If they have tape and Adam said what they quoted, then I can see why the writer would be ticked off. But I agree that Adam's intention was to say what he tweeted; maybe he mispoke, or thought his tone made his point clear, or whatever. Anyway it seems Adam is pretty adamant about his stance on this, lol. I don't know if this will grow as a story, but worst case scenario is that he says "oops I mispoke and here's what I meant" and gets to "clarify" and expand on his original statement, and maybe talk a bit more about his relationship and/or stance on marriage equality. It's all good and just part of the hoopla and stirring up interest, generating headlines, etc. etc.

Hi! It's from DTRH -- go to about 3:20 in the video below. Pretty funny! He says "Wooo!" while he is gesturing at the fan. Love silly Adam! ETA: I'm wondering what he is seeing, too. Was it a nice sparkly top or something else?? Seems like the trail of bread crumbs leads to the @jsmith92, and some red lit-up sparkly skull top (????) - whatever you envision that to be. Given that this twitter account seems to belong to JamieGlambert of major video fame and she was in front row during the concert, I guess those bread crumbs may be correct. But that is all I could find out...and I do need to run. Just want to leave you with a big big thank you for all the fun and goodies yesterday. I only caught up with you today, but I had many good laughs and I am glad Adam could settle all the dust so quickly and efficiently. I think he is starting to steel himself mentally for round two of promotions, he knows that the US and especially British tabloids are waiting who are very good at "selective quoting" and yes, I do believe he feels that now he needs to protect two and not only himself. Just hope this does not eat away at him inside. We all perceive words, gestures and sounds differently, interpret them in the context of our own lives, pour our set of opinions and perceptions on top (i.e. the need to protect certain values or concepts, the need to defend ourselves because we feel attacked, the need to make a point or reversely to preserve harmony, etc.) You put all that together in a pot, stir a bit and you get a lot of heat generated. Adam is with every word he speaks in the center of whatever vortex he creates. And in RL the opinions can vary much more than on a Wednesday morning on a fan site. Wishing him a lot of air to breathe and may that tornado around him spin far enough away from that center of calm that he can maintain his path unshaken. Adam-Storm indeed. With those thoughts I've got to leave you guys for today...have to attend to that RL, because that will show up at my front door in about 3 hours and I am sooo not prepared.
