My google alerts flagged this article on Anna Wilson and her new release. Sounds like Adam tweeted about it? I don't remember. But, if so, it shows the power of Adam's name. Someone is recognizing it! "This album’s debut single, in collaboration with American Idol’s Matt Giraud, remained top 1 on the iTunes jazz chart for four consecutive days with regards to Adam Lambert’s twitter endorsement." www.jazzatlantaga.com/anna-wilson/Wow, that was a long time ago, nice shout out. adamlambert Adam Lambert Check out Matt Giruad's new single "You Don't Know Me" available now on iTunes and Amazon! 28 Jan 10

Well, that was fun! Liam McEwan played the commercial robininny recorded of me in Ste. Agathe! We really enjoyed listening to the Adam Lambert Hour last week at our hotel in Montreal, after we figured out how to get the station on my Android!

What does He mean by? #ontheinsideHe knows people? He's on the inside of the industry? Well, they've all been very good about not leaking anything but Twitter teases. It makes me even MORE excited. Adam seems to share it pretty freely with people he works with and/or meets. Seems like a legit company: www.majorlyindie.com/ Someone on twitter (sorry can't remember who) found this from March 2011 www.majorlyindie.com/newsletter_story/show/723ole + BMG Euro hitsource Songcamp Generates 43 Songs, On-Going International Writer CollaborationsThe ole + BMG Euro hitsource songcamp, held at the RoastingHouse Studios in Malmo, Sweden from Feb. 28-March 4, brought together 28 world-class songwriters, including 6 from ole, who created 43 songs that covered the rock, pop, dance and country genres during the intensive five-day collaborative writing sessions. The focus was on material for a number of recording projects including Pixie Lott, The Wanted, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Jordin Sparks and Daughtry. On the evening of the second day, Ian Pirie, President of 19 Entertainment, which represents Underwood, Lambert, Allen, Sparks and Daughtry, gave the assembled writers a briefing on the type of songs he was interested in obtaining for those artists. Having direct contact with one of the biggest names in the music business was very inspiring to all the writers involved. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I wonder if Adam's deal with Kobalt Music Group is still in effect with the change of Management? www.kobaltmusic.com/news_press_releases.php?id=185GRAMMY NOMINEE AND GLOBAL SUPERSTAR ADAM LAMBERT SIGNS WORLDWIDE ADMINISTRATION DEAL WITH KOBALT MUSIC GROUP "We are thrilled to be working globally with Adam Lambert and 19 Entertainment. My DD will be a freshman in college this coming year. All of her friends know who Adam Lambert is. WWFM was performed at the high school talent show this year. They played WWFM and IIHY at the Homecoming Dance last fall. She is attending a large state school and she had a 3 day freshman orientation in June. The group leaders, who were older college kids, did a cute little dance routine to a mash up of 3 dance songs. Guess what one of them was? IIHY!!! They also used Katy Perry's "Firework". How does Adam keep this age interested in his music? It's simple-continue to get hits on Pop radio.

I'm quite certain the Kobalt deal was only affiliated with 19 because they were his management company at the time. They sign artists and writers, not "mergers." I am quite certain Adam's deal with Kobalt will stand regardless of his management change. If anything, it might prove more beneficial for them.

It's true...some kids do not like pop music at all (just like adults). If they are into indie rock they will often look down on pop.....so it's not usually age as much as preference. Many college stations are indie....shrug

The songcamp was to help songwriters learn to collaborate and create better pop songs. In the unlikely event that an actual recorded song came out of this writing camp, the songwriter would have there own publisher. ------------- And the change in artist's management is separate from the publishing deal that Adam has with Kobalt.
