Re:Adam on X-Factor: Simon loves nothing better than to be right (IMO), so if Adam is on X-F Simon can say he told us so. Also, Paula's a judge, Sony the label, so...it could happen. Adam is also a wonderful example of a star who got a platform on a reality show. I used to think no way, but now I think it's probable--this coming from someone who knows next to nothing about how bookings get made. LOL Like it or not X-Factor is Simon's own show so I think he is going to bring in all his artists first, singers that he signs to SICO... or his big gun like Leona Lewis or ones that he thinks need promotion in the US.... :-/ He's the EP but RCA and Fox still have a say. Yes, Leona will likely be one of the acts booked, as she does have a fall release pending. (Pulse insider said December today.) She is mired in a property infringement lawsuit in Europe right now that is about her supposed first single, so delays are possible until it's resolved. I think the point about them wanting to prove the validity of talent show contestants is an excellent one. And they're going to want ratings draws first, not people who are totally unknown in the U.S., which is most of Simon's roster, other than Leona and SuBo. Leona has a very tepid following here, so I can't see her snagging major ratings. If he doesn't appear for single promo, I think he'll definitely be there for album in late October, early November. |

Actually, it isn't that slow a news day, but nobody is posting. We know Adam is at a photoshoot today. MaximoTV has posted that it is going to be covering him for the EQCA Awards tomorrow. VH1 has tweeted that rehearsals for the Do Something Awards are underway (looks like it hasn't been posted ... I'll go find it). We actually have a ton of stuff in the works, but no one is conversing about it. Well, I for one have been checking in/lurking but not really posting. Trying to get some RL stuff done before the storm and wonder if some others are too. Plus, we have had horrible weather on the PST zone and finally getting some sun so need to take advantage. So glad to come here and see that we are getting tidbits in the meantime. Thanks to everyone who are keeping things up:-) |

Just want to share personal SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Hubby came home a few minutes ago with a BEAUTIFUL large bouquet of fresh flowers for moi AND for no special occasion--he just wuvs me! I almost fainted; hadn't gotten a nice surprise like this in a very long time. So happy. Gotta run; think he deserves some special attention this weekend.  OK, back to your regular programming..... |

Now if we could get someone to LEAK pictures of said photoshoots or rehearsal, we'd be cooking!! HAHAHA!! Remember what happened with Michlin Man??? Bet Adam probably has the word out that anyone leaks photos and they will be strung up!!   I know I am in the deep minority - I love the Michlin Man pics :-[ In general - the thought of how Adam must be feeling while playing his favorite game of "dress up";and not any "dress up" but a seriously high fashion "dress up" - makes me all happy :D ... and we know that sooner or later we'll get to see the results as well... :D |

They are really not wanting to let anything out right now. Do you think initially someone said he could release a part of the " music centric" video early and then someone else said no?
