I made a macro that I think clearly represents the good and the bad of fanfic and should, once and for all, bring this discussion to it's inevitable end. Leaving us with much to think about and probably, much to have nightmares over. (thank you Google images for finding me the scariest pic ever to use in this) NooOoooooOOooooOooOOOoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cries* Now I'm skurred and need someone to hold me! I'm going to have nightmares for the rest of my life now.  MUST. BRING. BACK. THE. PRETTY!!!!   |

It was a very small twitvid that i think Sasha tweeted.Dont have it. At the time of the Cleveland GNT show, the glamily had some time off. Adam, Tommy, Cam, Neil, and, I think, Taylor (at least these 5) rented a motor boat and went out on lake Erie. They went tubing. It was a cute vid, because the point was to make the 2 people in the tube fall off into the water. Adam was not one of the ones in the tube  :(. I know we're moving on and I do think we're on the same page. It could be that they didn't understand how it made people feel but it also could have been a retroactive defense of yesterday's discussion. I don't think anyone wants fanfic to become a daily part of the Adam News thread but I do think yesterday's discussion served a purpose for that day. It was one of the informative digressions that we occasionally have here on ATOP but that do not become part of the daily discussion. Discussing what people are and aren't comfortable with in fic was part of that discussion. Acknowledging that some parts of the discussion made people uncomfortable and defending the right to have held it yesterday can coexist. That WAS very sweet of everyone to send you greetings. You are not alone, Grashus. My fake Atop birthday isn't for 10 months or so. Is that common to not post your real age online? Just wondering because I always tell people who ask how old I am and now I'm thinking I shouldn't ??? To keep with a theme, it's all about what you're comfortable with. When I first came online, the internet was this spooky thing full of predators. It still is but there are also a lot of normal folks. I've lied about many aspects of my personal information. Now everyone is on FB with very little sense of privacy and I'm still adjusting to the notion. But younger internet users tend to be much more open with their background info. Lie, don't lie, it's all about what makes you comfortable. |

Now I'm gonna soooo-ooo see NIGHTMARES now  Shortly about fanfics here: [X] yes [ ] no : the stuff here on forum, innocent or semi-innocent and imaginative, kind and humorous = fun [ ] yes [X] no : the other kind full fiction fanfic stories, they can have their own place somewhere else (and I didn't even know that sort existed in fandoms, I'm new to fandoms :-/) I had been exploring several Adam forums, reading and such for awhile and then decided that this one looks most suitable to me and wondered if I could fit in. Though, I mostly paddle in the shallow end with a yellow rubber duck or two, and let you others do the sauna, jacuzzi and deep end of the pool 8-). Good Night now to everybody (I will so blame Chunkey tomorrow at work if can't sleep :D:D). |

Aaaand....GO! *SCREAMS!!!* AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! That is by far more offensive than any fanfic discussion. I need to have something to get this visual from my head, HELP! |
