A question for those who are on AO-- I saw someone on Twitter mention that RCAEd was looking into getting the Sleepwalker import CD available on AO, to save people the exorbitant shipping. True? I can't leave nica575 out to dry here. I agree with her and left the board last night and chose to watch videos from the last 2 LA concerts instead. It was a wonderful digression but I did feel kind of sad to feel that I wanted to leave for the first time since I've joined either PF or ATop. The suggestion to scroll would not have worked last night. And I have to say I don't care how complex the plots is or wonderful someone thinks the story is, but mentioning rape, in reference to real people, really turned the whole discussion sour for me. For me, fanfiction is a very specific thing and for very specific tastes. That's why sites that specialize in it give warnings before you enter. I choose not to enter. Having specific examples discussed last night made me uncomfortable. But that was repeatedly clarified and apologized for, though it was simply one isolated example that was speaking to another point entirely. Yet the people who "took issue" are the one's who keep bringing it back up. I just mentioned it because I didn't want nica or anyone else to think she was the only one who had an issue with it. From all the comments today, it was giving the impression that she was alone and she wasn't. Q3 comment: Please stop now -- all anyone had to do was PM me about the post, I would have deleted it and it would have been over. Instead I have literally 40+ posts to delete and as fast as I delete 1 there are 3 more about it. All will be deleted -- the original post and all of the comments about it will vanish. AND I WILL BAN ANYONE WHO CONTINUES TO POST ABOUT THIS because there is no point in the discussion except to make more work for me. Sorry, but I have too many other more productive things to do than delete posts. Like finishing working out how to more the concerts threads over here. |

I can't look at them without thinking about Monte's comment on smashing guitars on stage. He said in the interview with Juneau and Xena that he couldn't smash A guitar. The guitar could go to A kid that doesn't have one. I love the Glamily

OMG!! Those are the best Adam/Kiss pics I've ever seen!!! Where did they come from?? I saved them from one of the Adam picture forums. I forget which one but as soon as I came upon the pics, I quickly grabbed them. |

That WAS very sweet of everyone to send you greetings. You are not alone, Grashus. My fake Atop birthday isn't for 10 months or so. Is that common to not post your real age online? Just wondering because I always tell people who ask how old I am and now I'm thinking I shouldn't ??? Oh, I'm definitely NOT ashamed of my age or anything like that. I offer it up freely to any real-life acquaintances. I just don't want my personal info online (any more than it is). It's just a small security issue for me. 8-) |
