Okay, guys, I just want to share a bit from a shopping spree I went on earlier while watching an old movie on TV. I went looking for mens' swimwear...trying to guess what Adam would be stylin' in BB. And here's just a small sample of what I found: This pair of Rubber Duckie trunks was just for fun, since we splash in the shallow end so often!  Then I checked out glam trunks and came up with these...umm,no.  Liked the jacket (with !backpack!?) with these...  And, last but not least, some safe boardshorts, which of course are similar to what our Hiro wore....  Anyway, I came back to the thread and BOOM! PICS! And Adam had indeed chosen some new boardshorts--to match his tank top, no doubt! ;D (...and y'all should SEE some of the mens' trunks that are out there now  ) Well, time for me to turn in...will be lurking around till next weekend, hoping to get hints about collaborations for #2! Hope everyone has a great week! |

I just saw news on my feed that there was a huge volcanic eruption of Mt. Bulusan in The Philippines within the last hour or so -- I hope all our fellow Adam fans are okay. You are in my thoughts!

I never understood who could possibly feel that way toward him without it being a bit incestuous. He is just too hot to inspire mothering outside of a real desire to see him succeed and be happy. |

Absolutely. He had to do something for the comp vacay. This was it. Don't know how many celebs would take it if this were the case. Why would he take a trip knowing there would be interruptions? I think the tweet was the promo. Or he agreed that his name could be used in promo such as "Come to the St. Regis, Adam Lambert did". Or even the photo in front of the poster would cover. The trip may be comp but Adam has to include the FMV (fair mkt val) of this trip in his taxable income. He will get a 1099 form. If this trip costs close to $30k including air fare and amenities, he will pay about $12K in fed & state/lcl taxes. edit: I think these are pap pix. I uploaded a couple to flickr and they come with a detailed automatic description, the same way prior pap pix did. I don't care about the financial end, I'll bet this trip was priceless to Adam. If the pictures were taken, I don't think it was by what we think of as paps. It's not like there was anywhere for them to hide, where did they stay, and Adam looks totally relaxed and having fun. I don't know what the explanation is, but I don't think it is anything sinister and I am almost 100% sure the St. Regis would not allow anything untoward to happen to a guest. |
