All this PC/Mac talk has my head spinning. I'm a happy PC'er but I'm a tech novice compared to most of you guys. And I'm still trying to get used to my laptop w/o a mouse. I don't even have a smart phone - yet. That's coming! Anything that captures the beauty of one AFL is acceptable to me. I think I've gone from loving this guy as a fan to loving him with my real heart. I hope that doesn't sound yuky. It doesn't feel yuky. It feels sweet and heart-warming. It doesn't sound yuky to me. He has found a place of love in my "real heart" too. Doesn't sound weird to me either. I have ben trying to figure out how and why I can care so much about someone I have never met. I've stopped trying to figure it out and am just loving it and enjoying it now.

I keep trying to remember what I was doing with my life the day before Adam walked around that corner on American Idol. For the life of me, it must not have been fun or important because I cannot remember anything. It feels like my real life started two years ago. It became full of music and fun. I started using my computer 24/7 for the first time. I vaguely remember Hillary Clinton so I must have been dabbling in politics, but that is it. I don't think I had a life.
I just noticed that you wonderful fans can't even talk about computers without mentioning Adam. How great his picture looks on your ipad, or the kind that Adam used years ago. Adam, everything I do seems to revolve around or include Adam. My husband never gave me any grief about Adam because he likes him too until the other day. He looked at me and said "Boy, you are really obsessed with Adam." I started laughing and asked when he noticed that. I haven't done anything else in the last two years but talk about Adam, give money to charity, buy Adam CD's, talk to all of you, read Adam fic, monkey around with all my pictures of Adam, rarely leave my computer. When we go on vacation, I am bugging everyone we visit to get on their computers because I can't stand to miss anything. Outrageous. It is outrageous, but I can't stop. It must be what taking drugs is like. You just can't stop no matter what is going on around you. I know I am not alone either. Maybe we are going to become a cult. Do you think?

I am starting to think that the PC vs Mac thing is like Miracle Whip vs Mayonase (Hellmans in my case!). It seems to be just one of those intrinsic differences Personally, I think Miracle Whip was invented by Satan as a toture device! My next door neighbor wouldn't dream of buying anything other than Miracle Whip. She seems to be a nice person despite this deep flaw in her personality lol pjd - you're probably right about the Mac/PC thing. Fans of both abound. I had to think twice about what you were talking about. I was like WTF is Miracle Whip? Different countries, different product brands. I've got it now tho

In Suz's vid of Adam and Kathy singing, I just noticed why the audience was laughing around the 2:15 mark.
Adam evidently stood up at one point when Kathy was summoning him to the stage, but if you look carefully around 2:15 (far left), you can see him plop back down in his seat.

I've got it now tho Oops! sorry for the product/brand confusion I should have realized that with all our international friends that wouldn't make sense! (I work in international trade - I definitely should be aware of local differences) Even within the USA, my reference to Hellman's Mayo doesn't work - it goes by a different name out West - something like Best Mayo? Miracle Whip is an evil "salad dressing" that tries to masquerade as mayonaise! I don't think I've ever met anyone here who doesn't have a ~definite opinion on Miracle Whip vs Mayo if the subject comes up!
