Has anyone seen the current TV commercial for Chanel perfume? It seems they have a female singing Runnin' Or is it my imagination!

I understand how some think it sounds like "Runnin'", but the melody line is slightly different and the harmony is definitely different. Inspired by Runnin' or just coincidence? Who knows. |

I agree that their chemistry made sparks fly, and it still doesn't appear to me that the relationship simply ran its course. For that they do see each other too often. I think Adam's career and two very different home countries far from each other made it hard, especially for Sauli who also seems to be very much a family and social person. I still have that feeling that there is something very special between them and if that is indeed the case, I hope that there will be the right time for them to find each other again. They appeared to be very much in love in the beginning. The whole situation moved really quickly..according to Adam...and I'm sure it was exciting for them both. Often that falling in love phase fades. We know nothing about the behind the scenes relationship. We can just observe their behavior from the outside. They seem somewhat co dependent now. One of those "can't live with you and can't live without you" scenarios. I agree the two very different countries and languages presented an additional challenge....in addition to Adam's career and travelling, etc. Adam only bothered to learn 5 Finnish words/phrases while they were together and Sauli doesn't seem to have put a priority on learning fluid English. "Lost inside communication breakdown"... Just judging from behavior.....Adam has been looking and mingling and Sauli hasn't from all indications. I know Adam is really busy with his career....but unless there's a show in Finland, it's Sauli who travels to be with Adam. It seems to me that Adam wants his cake and eat it too. Hopefully they have a mutual understanding where one doesn't take advantage of the other and they're both happy with their current arrangement. I suppose it could continue on like this for 5 more years or until one or the other finds a new love or maybe they decide to give it "One More Try". “Co dependent? “ “only learned 5 words” !“Sauli didn’t make English a priority” “wants his cake and eat it too!” “taking advantage” Wow! This “opinion” is painting Adam as a user! So many assumptions from no real knowledge! Looks to me like Sauli and Adam are doing what they can, for now. Both men seem very happy with their lives!! |

I have always thought, based on Adam saying it was like having a roommate, that the 2 year drop (look it up) happened and the fact there was an imbalance in power. Also perhaps both men grew up not expecting a marriage or long term relationship to happen. |

Sauli? Lord I don't care one bit about his personal life at all :D Whens that album coming out I hear ya on that one! I care about the music; his personal life is just that. I do NOT fantasize about somebody else's life so I guess I'm not a romantic. LOL |
