From about an hour ago on twitter FYI... @adamtopia: The host 4 Adamtopia.com is having server issues this afternoon causing the site to load slowly or not at all. Pennyroyal hasn't fixed my problem yet!!!  I'll have to wait until tomorrow and if he doesn't add Greece to the countries for shipping I'll tweet him again. :( But I want it now!!  OK now that I said my problem to you I feel better.  I'll wait. |

Another rip-off. Gaga thinks that her Madonna, Midler, Elvis ripoff's (Annie Lennox did it first) are unknowns to people in her following of monsters, so they wwouldn't know the difference. Gaga and Annie Lennox share a similar type of look so it only stands to reason that they would look pretty similar when cross dressing. Art/music/literature all stand on their forbearers shoulders....I think this vid in particular is pretty original and the song does not channel anyone's inner Elvis. Doubt the date is anything more than a coincidence .... Elvis just doesn't much resonate with this generation of musicians outside of country. Adam gets the comparison because of his looks...and that was a big surprise to him...but AI fans are often old enough to be reminded of Elvis and so the comparisons grew. Just my opinion...could be wrong...have often been wrong..but don't believe so. Sh###ng on Gaga seems to have become an international sport for some reason. Let us hope that when Adam gets that big he won't become just as big a target.... ETA It is too easy for people to 'call her out' and there is not a thing she can do or way to win that game. It is like religion...based on belief...no way to prove unless there is outright plagiarism...so she just has to grin and keep her mouth shut. |
